PACCAR Scholarship Award
* Scholarship applicants must be full-time undergraduate students enrolled in a degree program in manufacturing engineering technology or mechanical engineering technology at the University of North Texas. * Scholarship applicants must have completed a minimum of 60 college credit hours and be seeking a career in manufacturing engineering technology or mechanical engineering technology. * Scholarship applicants must possess an overall minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Consideration will be given to applicants with a minimum of 30 hours per week while in school. * Scholarship applicants with demonstrated vehicle interest or experience will be given preference for this award. * Need is not a consideration in awarding scholarships except when two or more applicants have equal qualifications.
PLAN/NH Fellowship
Grants for $2,500 are available for highly qualified sophomores, juniors and seniors and $5,000 for graduate-level architectural students who are planning to pursue careers aimed at improving the built environment in northern New England. Undergraduate candidates must be New Hampshire residents currently enrolled in an accredited program at a New England university or college that leads to a degree in architecture, mechanical engineering, interior design, or studio art. Graduate candidates must be New Hampshire residents enrolled in any NAAB accredited program leading to a masters degree in architecture. The award may be renewed if the candidate demonstrates high academic achievement and commitment to their discipline. Funds may be used for any educational expense, including room and board. Candidates should have achieved a superior grade point average and demonstrated general excellence in their field of study. In addition to academic achievement, selection criteria stress the following: a. An activist orientation showing excellent potential for having a positive effect on the built environment of northern New England. b. A demonstrated dedication to a life's work in the chosen field. c. Leadership experience and the ability to communicate and promote solutions. d. Breadth of skills including the flexibility and creativity required to work with diverse interest groups. e. Work experience in a related or relevant field. f. A New England focus that will most likely lead to application of the candidate's skills and training to solving problems of the built environment in New Hampshire or northern New England.
D.J. McDonald Memorial Scholarships
To qualify, students must be nominated by a faculty member. These nominees must be either college juniors or seniors and majoring in one of the following engineering fields: mechanical, nuclear, or welding. College transcripts and a statement detailing course of study, accomplishments, professional affiliations and goals, and financial need must accompany nominations.
Kenneth Andrew Roe Scholarship
One (1) $9,000 scholarship to an ASME Student Member for study in the Junior or Senior year in an ABET accredited or substantially equivalent mechanical engineering program. Applicants must be North American residents or U.S. citizens.
Garland Duncan Scholarship
Three (3) scholarships of $3,000 each to ASME Student Members for study in the Junior or Senior year in an ABET accredited or substantially equivalent mechanical engineering program in the U.S.
Melvin R. Green Scholarship
Two (2) scholarships of $3,500 each to ASME Student Members for study in the Junior or Senior year in an ABET accredited or substantially equivalent mechanical engineering program in the U.S.
F.W. Beich Beichley Scholarship
One (1) $2,000 scholarship to an ASME Student Member for study in the Junior or Senior year in a mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology program in the U.S.
John and Elsa Gracik Scholarship
Seventeen (17) scholarships of $1500 each to ASME Student Members enrolled in an ABET accredited mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology, or related program. Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
Frank William and Dorothy Given Miller ASME Schp
Two (2) scholarships of $2,000 each to ASME Student Members for study in the Junior or Senior year in an ABET accredited mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology, or related program. Applicants must be North American residents or U.S. citizens.
William J. and Marijane E. Adams, Jr. Scholarship

$ Amount: $3,000
Student Status: for study in the sophomore, junior or senior year.
Requirements: Applicants must be enrolled in a mechanical engineering baccalaureate program. The award recipient will be selected on the basis of scholastic ability (minimum GPA 2.5), demonstrated interest in product development and design, and financial need.
Locations: Attending a college or university in California, Hawaii or Nevada and demonstrates a special interest in product development and design.
Scholarship Description
ASME will award annually one scholarship to an ASME Student Member attending a college or university in California, Hawaii or Nevada and demonstrates a special interest in product development and design.
ASME Graduate Teaching Fellowships
The ASME Graduate Teaching Fellowship Program serves to encourage outstanding graduate students, especially women and minorities, to pursue a doctorate in Mechanical Engineering and to select engineering education as a profession. A teaching assistantship commitment from the applicant's department is required. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens or permanent residents, hold an undergraduate degree from an ABET accredited program, and be ASME Student Members. The Society maintains up to four (4) fellowships per year, each with a stiped of $5,000, which can be renewed for a second year.
Calvin College/The James Bosscher/SAE Engineering Scholarship
Student Eligibility: Scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen enrolled in the engineering program and who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and potential.
Terms: One $2,000 scholarship will be awarded. This scholarship is renewable for the sophomore year contingent on continued enrollment in engineering and satisfactory performance in the first year.
