Program Description:The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) and GMAC Financial services have partnered to provide book scholarships to assist outstanding Latino students in their purchase of college textbooks. This scholarship is open to undergraduate students in selected geographic locations pursuing degrees in Business, Communication or Urban Planning.Eligibility Requirements: * Be of Hispanic heritage * Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired) * Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale * Must major in either one of the following: Accounting, Advertising, Business Administration, Communications, Economics, Finance, Human Resource Management, Management, Marketing, Public Policy & Management, Public Relations, or Urban Studies/Planning * Have plans to enroll FULL-TIME in a degree seeking program at a four year U.S. accredited institution in the U.S., Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands or Guam. * Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Program Description:The HSF/Hormel Scholarship Program is a scholarship of $2,500 awarded for applicants interested in a career in the food industry.In addition, interested students can apply to be considered for a paid internship. Eligibility Requirements: * Be of Hispanic heritage * Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States with a valid Social Security Number at the time of application. All legal permanent residents must submit a copy of their valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired) * Have a permanent address in one of the following Midwest states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin * Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale * Be a Junior with an intended graduation date between December and August * Be majoring in Accounting, Mechanical Engineering (includes Mechanical Technology), Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering/Technology (includes Industrial Management) Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration (includes Operations), Management, Agriculture Science/Agronomy (includes Agriculture Engineering, Agribusiness, Ag Economics, Food Service), Computer Science, Information Technology (IT/MIS) (includes Computer Information Systems), Zoology (includes Animal Science), Marketing (includes Professional Selling), Hospitality Administration (includes Hotel/Restaurant Management) or related majors * Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Program Description:The HSBC-North America Scholarship Program is available on a competitive basis to outstanding Latino undergraduate students. Eligibility Requirements: * Be of Hispanic heritage * Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired) * Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale * Have plans to enroll FULL-TIME in a degree seeking program at a two or four year U.S. accredited institution in the U.S., Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands or Guam * Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) * Be pursuing first undergraduate or graduate degree * Must reside in one of the following Counties: Los Angeles, CA (LA, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura); Monterey/Salinas, CA (Salinas); Chicago, IL (Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, LaSalle, Will, McHenry); New York, NY (Bronx, Kings, New York, Queens, Richmond); Las Vegas, NV (Clark) * Be a current undergraduate sophomore OR a student currently attending community college and planning on transferring to a four-year college or university where you will be a Junior. * Be majoring in one of the following majors: Accounting, Advertising, Business Administration, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Information Technology (IT/MIS), Management, Marketing, Public Relations

Program Description:The HSF/Marathon Oil Corporation Scholarship Program is a scholarship of up to $15,000 per year. Selected students may receive up to $15,000 for two academic years for a possible total award of $30,000.In addition, scholars will be offered the opportunity to participate in a possible paid 8-10 week summer internship at various Marathon Oil Corporation locations. Scholars will also be paired with a Marathon Oil Corporation employee who will serve as a professional mentor.Eligibility Requirements: * Be of Hispanic American, African American, Asian Pacific Islander American, or American Indian/Alaskan Native heritage. * Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States with a valid Social Security Number at the time of application. All legal permanent residents must submit a copy of their valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551. * Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale. * Be a current Sophomore majoring in Accounting, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Energy Management or Petroleum Land Management, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, Finance, Geology, Geophysics, Geotechnical Engineering, Global Procurement or Supply Chain Management, Information Technology (IT/MIS), Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or Transportation & Logistics. * Or be a current Senior planning to enroll in a Master's degree program in Geology or Geophysics. * Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

This scholarship is open to African-American, Asian/Pacific Islander American and Hispanic undergraduate students in selected geographic locations and in selected majors. The award amount is $5,000.Eligibility Requirements * Be of African-American, Asian/Pacific Islander American or Hispanic heritage * Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired) * Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale * Have plans to enroll as a Sophomore, Junior or Senior * Have plans to enroll FULL-TIME in a degree seeking program at a U.S. accredited institution in the U.S., Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands or Guam during the 2009-2010 academic year * Be majoring in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Mathematics or Statistics * Students must have a permanent address in one of the following metropolitan areas: Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, or San Francisco * Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Description The HSF/VAMOS Scholarship Program is designed to assist high school seniors of Hispanic heritage from Cameron, Hidalgo, and Starr counties in Texas obtain a bachelor's degree. Selected students attending UT-Pan American may receive $3,000 per year. All others may receive up to $5,000 per year for four academic years. Eligibility Requirements: Be of Hispanic heritage Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired). Be a high school senior graduating from a high school in one of the following Texas counties: Cameron Hidalgo Starr Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale Must be a Pell grant-eligible student Have plans to enroll FULL-TIME as a Freshman in a degree-seeking program at a four year U.S. accredited institution in the U.S., Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands or Guam during the next academic year Must plan to apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Program Description:The Winchell's & Yum Yum Donuts Scholarship Program is available on a competitive basis to freshman, sophomores, juniors and seniors in a 4-year college or university of Hispanic heritage from California. All students welcome to apply with preference given to business-related majors. Awards are in the amount of $3,000.Eligibility Requirements: * Be of Hispanic heritage. * Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired) * Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. * Be a FULL-TIME student in a degree seeking program at a four year accredited U.S. institution in California. * Must currently reside or attend school in California with a preference given to students from one of the following locations: Greater Los Angeles, San Diego, Northern California. * Preference given to students attending Loyola Marymount University, University of San Diego. * All Majors allowed with preference given to students majoring in Business Administration, Accounting, Advertising, Economics, Finance, Human Resource Management, Hospitality Management, Management, Marketing or Public Relations. * Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

The Robert L. Schattner Scholarship is for Jewish students residing in Burlington, Camden or Gloucester Counties who plan to enroll or are currently enrolled in a college or university degree-related program. Priority will be given to students pursuing degree programs in a health or business related field. Students must demonstrate financial need. RULES: 1. Applicant must have a 2.5 minimum grade point average 2. Include all extra-curricular activities applicant is involved with including: participation in religious, civic and/or community organizations, athletics, and/or employment experience 3. Applicant must demonstrate financial need 4. Parent or Guardian must complete the Scholarship Financial Application 5. Award period is one year 6. Current recipients of this scholarship may re-apply 7. Scholarship may be used for tuition and books or room and board 8. Applicants must provide the following materials: □ Special Scholarship Application Form □ Most recent official transcript with GPA and SAT scores □ Personal statement describing your involvement in the Jewish community, extracurricular activities, honors and awards (as indicated in Special Scholarship Application Form) □ Parent/Guardians’ most recently signed 1040 □ Two letters of recommendation from source other than a family member

Established to promote and foster direct marketing education in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area.Eligibility:Must be enrolled or plan to enroll in an accredited Degree or Certificate Program in the Greater Kansas City or regional area, be enrolled or plan to enroll for the fall semester with a course or series of courses relating to the direct marketing industry, provide proof of previous scholastic achievement (minimum 3.0 grade-point average), provide a letter of recommendation, and submit the scholarship application.

For students currently attending a local college, with at least one more year of classes left to take.Preferred majors include: Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design, and Advertising Departments.

The National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. (NABA) is a national membership organization with the primary purpose of developing, encouraging, and serving as a resource for greater participation by African Americans and other minorities in the accounting profession. NABA's programs are designed to help strengthen the skills base for its student members, provide support to those professionals seeking higher levels of accomplishment, identify opportunities for minority students and professionals in the accounting profession, and encourage a greater number of African-American students to select accounting as their chosen field of study. NABA works actively with accounting firms, corporations, schools, and colleges in the placement of minority candidates for accounting positions. NABA was established in 1969 by a group of nine African-American accountants who were concerned about the limited number of minorities in the field of accounting, and particularly, the limited number of certified public accountants. At the time of inception, there were about 100 African-American CPAs; today, there are more than 5,000 members. Scholarships: NABA makes available student scholarships at both the national and local levels. Scholarships are awarded to deserving and successful college students to assist in furthering their education. Over $2 million has been awarded over the past 10 years. Scholarships include the following: NABA National Scholarship: minimum amount is $6,000; overall GPA of 3.3 and accounting GPA of 3.5 required. Various sponsored scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000, overall GPA of 3.3 and accounting GPA of 3.5 required. To be eligible for a NABA scholarship, you must: be an ethnic minority who is an undergraduate business major (accounting, finance, information systems, marketing, etc.); be a paid NABA member for the current fiscal year; have an overall and accounting GPA as previously indicated; and submit a personal biography of no more than 500 words indicating career objectives, leadership abilities, community activities, and NABA involvement.

Each academic year, Accenture selects students who demonstrate character, personal merit and commitment to the American Indian community locally and/or nationally. Merit is demonstrated through leadership in school, civic and extracurricular activities, academic achievement, and motivation to serve and succeed. Eligibility requirements include the following: Be an enrolled member of a U.S. federally recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native group, verified through submission of the AIGC Tribal Eligibility Certificate (TEC) form; Be seeking a degree and career in fields of study including: various engineering, computer science, operations management, management, finance, marketing and other business oriented fields; Be entering a U.S. accredited college or university as a full-time, degree seeking college undergraduate freshmen. High School transcript must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or greater, on a 4.0 scale at the end of the seventh semester. Demonstrate character, personal merit and commitment to the American Indian Community locally and/or nationally.
