Automation Specialist Training Certificate Courses (AST-CCs Scholarships)
The academic achievement required to gain scholarship consideration is to submit an essay with 600 or more words on the topic of “New or Future Industrial Automation Technology”. This will require internet research and demonstrate that the applicant has computer and internet literacy which is essential to work with today’s automation technology. Ten full scholarships for a total of $10,000 plus in education will be awarded.
Courses these scholarships will fully fund are (Each recipient receives all 7 independent study certificate courses, courses in win pc software format) Motor Controls, VFD Basics, HMI Basics, PLC Training, Electrical and PLC Troubleshooting, PAC Training, DeviceNet Basics.

Imagine America High School Scholarship
The Imagine America Foundation created its Imagine America High School Scholarship Program in 1998 to help provide scholarships for high school students. This annual scholarship program has helped thousands of high school seniors afford a career education at hundreds of career schools across the United States. Each year, every high school in the United States and Puerto Rico may nominate up to five graduating seniors to receive a $1,000 Imagine America scholarship!
Dennis J. Beck Memorial Scholarship
Established by the family and friends of Dennis J. Beck, this scholarship honors his belief that a young person's character, when supported through education, is the foundation of the future.This scholarship is non-renewable. Miami Univ/The Ken Shinn/SAE Engineering Schp
Applicants must be high school seniors intending to pursue studies in Manufacturing Engineering. Scholarships will be granted on the basis of SAT and/or ACT scores, high school grade point average and extracurricular activities.
Bradley University/John Deere & Bradley Univ Schp.
Applicants must be incoming freshmen accepted into the College of Engineering and Technology at Bradley University. Selection is based on high school GPA, rank in class, curriculum and SAT/ACT scores. John Deere SAE Scholarships are for study in Mechanical, Electrical and Computer, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering. Bradley University SAE Engineering Scholarships are for study in all programs within the College of Engineering and Technology.
Walt Bartram Memorial Education Award
Scholarship applicants must be graduating high school seniors who commit to enroll in or who are full-time college or university students pursuing a degree in manufacturing engineering or a closely related field. Scholarship applicants must possess an overall minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale for their high school senior year. This award is available only to students residing within Region 12 (Arizona, California, New Mexico) and may be applied for separately or in combination with other scholarship awards listed on the Foundation web site. Need is a consideration in awarding scholarships only when two or more applicants have equal qualifications. All applicants should be SME members unless they are high school students.
St. Louis Chapter 17 Scholarship Award
Scholarship applicants must be full-time students enrolled in a manufacturing engineering, industrial technology, or other related program at one of the following sponsored institutions: Jefferson College, Mineral Area College, St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley, University of Missouri, Southeast Missouri Sate University, Southern Illinois University. Applicants from the above institutions must be: a freshman at one of the two-year institutions, a sophomore at one of the two-year institutions and accepted to one of the four-year institutions, or a junior or below at one of the four-year institutions. Scholarship applicants must possess an overall minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. Students applying in their freshman year of college must use their high school senior year as their GPA. At his level, eligible applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Each recipient must maintain an overall 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale and a minimum 3.0 GPA in manufacturing/engineering courses to continue their eligibility for this award throughout the academic year. Students may submit a scholarship application in succeeding years. Need is a consideration in awarding scholarships only when two or more applicants have equal qualifications.
AACE International Competitive Scholarships
AACE International is dedicated to advancing the study of cost engineering, and cost management through the integrative process of total cost management. To promote this objective, AACE awards academic scholarships to full-time students pursuing a related degree in engineering, construction management, building construction, computer sciences, business, quantity surveying, information technology, etc. The cost engineering profession uses the process of total cost management to identify and define those areas of business in which the discipline of cost engineering and cost management principles may be applied to plan and control resources, assets, costs, profitability, and risk. The major elements of the cost engineering discipline include estimating, project/product controls, planning and scheduling, business sciences, and project/product management.Scholarship Descriptions:AACE International scholarships are available in amounts ranging from $2000 to $8000. Specific awards will be determined based on your overall scholarship and collegiate accomplishments.Eligibility:Applicants must be currently enrolled full-time students who are enrolled in a program related to cost engineering/cost management. HSF/GE Hispanic Forum Scholarship Program
Eligibility Requirements:
Be of Hispanic heritage
Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired) or be granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).
Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Must intend to enroll as an undergraduate Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior or 5th Year Senior in the next academic year and be pursuing first undergraduate degree
Must major in one of the following:

Asian Pacific Community Fund - Verizon Scholarship Awards Program
The Asian Pacific Community Fund partners with Verizon to financially assist students in their pursuit of higher education as they face the challenge of significantly rising costs of obtaining a college degree. These awards will support those who excel academically, are leaders amongst their peers and are making a positive impact in their communities.
Eligibility:
Students who are residents of California, Oregon or Washington OR students attending college in one of those states
