Here are some of the Manufacturing scholarships on our site for which you may qualify.
Chapter 23 - Quad Cities Scholarship
Criteria:
Scholarship applicants must be seeking a Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing technology or integrated fg systems.
Scholarship applicants must possess an overall minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 point scale.
The scholarship can be used only as a credit toward books, fees, or tuition.
When making the selection of recipients, the scholarship committee will give consideration to the following preferences:
First preference - given to a scholarship applicant who is an active SME Student Chapter member, is an SME Member or is a child, grandchild, or step child of a registered SME member or student member.
Second preference - given to a applicant who are residents of Iowa or Illinois and attending an Iowa or Illinois college or university.
Third Preference - given to students who are residents of the state of Iowa or Illinois.
Fourth preference - will be given to applicants who attend a college or university located in Iowa or Illinois.
Autodesk Scholarship
Criteria:
Applicant must be a full time student majoring in manufacturing or industrial engineering, or a closely related field, at an accredited college or university in the United States or Canada. Applicant must have completed at least one PLTW class. Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Applicant can attend a 2 or 4 year school Applicant can be a graduating High School senior or a current undergraduate a student.
Alvin & June Sabroff Manufacturing Engineering Scholarship
Criteria:
All applicants must be seeking a bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, technology, or closely related field at an accredited public or private college or university in the United States or Canada. Eligible candidates for this scholarship must be United States citizens. Scholarship applicants must possess an overall minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 point scale When making the selection of recipients, the scholarship committee will give first preference to scholarship applicants who are planning to attend a college or university located in the state of Ohio
Dairy Farmers of America Scholarships
At Dairy Farmers of America, we believe it is important to invest in the next generation of leaders to ensure a bright future for the dairy industry. That is why we established the DFA Cares Foundation Scholarship Program.
The Foundation awards scholarships to three categories of students:
Incoming freshmen: High school seniors or recent graduates who have been accepted to college, but have not yet started classes
Undergraduate students: Students who are currently participating in an associate’s or bachelor’s degree program, but have not yet graduated
Graduate/professional students: Students enrolled in a graduate or professional degree program
Scholarships are available to students pursuing a career in the dairy industry or a related field:

Large animal veterinary medicine
Marketing/economics/finance

Must be enrolled in or applying for an accredited degree program during the next scholarship year
Applicant’s commitment and passion for a career in the dairy industry, as demonstrated through responses to three essay questions
Extracurricular activities, awards, recognition and work experience

Bettie & Jim Cox Scholarship
CATC graduating seniors who have been accepted or enrolled in a manufacturing training program. Applicants must have a 3.0 at the CATC and 2.0 or higher at their home school. How to Apply: CATC guidance office for application along with it a one to two page essay explaining why you have chosen to pursue a career in manufacturing technology, letter of recommendation, and proof of acceptance to a post-secondary school. Chapter 52 - Wichita Scholarship
Criteria:
All applicants must be seeking an associate's degree, bachelor's degree or graduate degree in manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial engineering, engineering technology, or industrial technology at an accredited public or private college or university in Kansas.
Scholarship applicants must possess an overall minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 point scale.
When making the selection of recipients, the scholarship committee will give consideration to the following preferences:
First preference will be given to scholarship applicants who are a child, grandchild, or relative of a current SME Wichita Chapter No. 52 member.
Second preference will be given to scholarship applicants who reside within the state of Kansas.
Third preference will be given to scholarship applicants who are planning to attend a college or university located in the state of Kansas
Chapter 311 - Tri-Cities Scholarship
Criteria:
All applicants must be seeking a bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing technology or integrated manufacturing systems degree program. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale.
When making the selection of recipients, the scholarship committee will give consideration to the following preferences:
First preference will be given to scholarship applicants who are residents of the state of Michigan.
Second preference will be given to scholarship applicants who are seeking their education from a college or university in the state of Michigan.
Estelle Siebens Excellence Scholarship
* One scholarship awarded annually worth up to US$10,000 per annum * For study in the US and Canada at the undergraduate and graduate levels * Approved fields of study are agriculture, architecture, economics, education, engineering, marine construction, marine design and manufacturing systems Giving primarily in the Bahamas.
Malcolm Baldrige Scholarship Award
Provides scholarship support to students majoring in or concentrating on studies in international business/trade or manufacturing. Annual awards have ranged from $2,000-$4,000.
AFS WI Past President Schoarship
FEFs screening of award candidates for final approval by the AFS Wisconsin Chapter will be based on the following criteria having three major categories each having equal weight. Within each category, the criteria is listed in descending order Residency: * Resident in AFS Wisconsin Chapter area * Resident of Wisconsin outside Chapter area * Resident of a state adjacent to Wisconsin * Residency other than above Education: * Attending an FEF school * Attending a Wisconsin school * Attending a school in an adjacent state Preferences: * Preference will be given to students who are pursuing programs deemed most useful to the cast metal industry. * Preference will be given to students with best scholastic records. Work Experience: * Currently in Co-op program involving the cast metal industry * Work experience in the cast metal industry * Any manufacturing work experience * Any work experience.
George J. Barker Memorial Scholarship
FEFs screening of award candidates for final selection by the Barker Fund Committee will be based on the following criteria, having three major categories each having equal weight. Within each category, the criteria is listed in descending order. The maximum amount for this scholarship could be $5000.00. Residency: * North American citizen * Resident of Wisconsin * Resident of a state adjacent to Wisconsin * Resident other than above Education: * Graduate Student * Attending an FEF school in the State of Wisconsin * Attending a Wisconsin school Preferences: * Preference will be given to candidates pursuing programs deemed most useful to the cast metal industry * Preference will be given to candidates with the best scholastic record Work Experience: * Currently in co-op program involving cast metal industry * Work experience in the cast metal industry * Any manufacturing work experience * Any work experience
NADCA Indiana Chapter 25 Scholarship
Final selection by the NADCA Indiana Chapter 25 Scholarship Committee will be based on the criteria listed below. There are six major categories and each has equal weight. Within each category, the criteria is listed in descending order It is important that you have your entire FEF profile completed to be considered for this scholarship. Residency: 1. Resident of Central Indiana 2. Resident of Indiana (outside of above) 3. Resident of a state adjacent to Indiana Education: 1. Attending an FEF school in the State of Indiana 2. Attending an Indiana school 3. Attending an FEF school in a state adjacent to Indiana Preferences: 1. Given to candidates pursuing programs deemed most useful to the die casting industry 2. Given to candidates with the best scholastic record Work Experience: 1. Currently in co-op program involving the die casting industry 2. Work experience in the die casting industry 3. Work experience in the cast metal industry 4. Any manufacturing work experience Relationships: 1. If you know a NADCA Chapter 25 member, provide that name & relationship 2. If you have worked for/with a Chapter 25 member, provide that name Other: Provide any other information about yourself that you feel would help the scholarship committee with the selection process.
