Scholarship criteria*:
o Must be a currently enrolled student attending an accredited college
o Must have completed half the requirements for an undergraduate degree or be enrolled in a graduate program
o Must show financial need and have eligible outstanding debt through college for tuition, books or supplies at
time of scholarship award in Spring and Fall
o Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA
o Must be pursuing a career objective in Hospitality Management

$10,000 NEWH Fabric Innovations Legacy Scholarship, sponsored by Fabric Innovations
Scholarship criteria*:

NEWH/Harvey Nudelman Memorial Scholarship
The NEWH/Harvey Nudelman Memorial Scholarship is a $4,000 scholarship award and is courtesy of FABRICUT CONTRACT. The winning student and sponsor will be honored in Las Vegas at HD Expo (exact date to be determined). This scholarship is released in the fall with a March deadline the following year. The NEWH/Harvey Nudelman Memorial scholarship is open to students pursuing a career objective in Interior Design for the Hospitality Industry. Winning student travel and lodging to awards event provided by NEWH, Inc.

The Ryan Wells Foundation Scholarship
Sponsor: The Ryan Wells FoundationAmount: 1 or more scholarships of $1,000 or moreUse: Culinary or Hospitality at a Vo-tech to a four year collegeCriteria: 1. Student must enter into a culinary or Hospitality program.2. The students G.P.A. must be a 2.53. The student must have completed at least 3 semesters of culinary or hospitality courses.4. Hospitality Majors Scholarship
Eligibility Criteria:•Must be of Hispanic background•Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in the United States or Puerto Rico•Must be studying at an accredited university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico for the upcoming academic year•Must be (or plan to be) enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student for the upcoming academic year•Must have earned and maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale•Must be studying a major that falls under the Hospitality Majors Application
Marriott Scholars Program
Eligibility Criteria:•Be of Hispanic/Latino heritage•Be U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in the United States or Puerto Rico•Be an upcoming freshman or sophomore for the school year•Plan to enroll as a full-time undergraduate student during the school year in a hospitality management or culinary program.•Plan to pursue a degree within the hospitality management, hotel management, culinary, or food beverage field.•Have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale.
Spirit of Sovereignty Foundation (NIGA) Tribal College Scholarship Program
Requirements: * 3.0 grade point average; * Must be enrolled full time at and eligible tribal college; * Must be majoring in any fields, preference given to business, information technology, hospitality and marketing; * Must be enrolled full time; * American Indian or Alaskan Native with proof of enrollment or descendancy.
NEWH Las Vegas Chapter Scholarship
Qualifications:
Must be a currently enrolled student attending an accredited college
Must have completed half the requirements for a degree or certification in the program you are currently enrolled
Must show financial need and have eligible outstanding debt for tuition, books or supplies at time of scholarship award
Must have a 3.0 GPA
Must have a career objective in one of the areas of the Hospitality Industry (i.e., Hotel/Restaurant Management, Culinary/Foodservice, Architecture, Interior Design, etc.)

NRAEF Scholarship Program
The National Restaurant Association Education Foundation (NRAEF) is the leading scholarship provider for the restaurant and foodservice industry. Our goal is to award scholarships to motivated individuals who are committed to furthering their education and succeeding in the restaurant and foodservice industry. Student scholarships start at $2,500 and educators receive $1,750 scholarships.
NRAEF Academic Scholarship for Undergraduate Students
STEP #1: Make sure you are qualified for this scholarship. Please read through the qualifications below. If you don’t meet ALL of these qualifications you are not eligible to apply.To be eligible to apply, you must:· Be a citizen or permanent resident* of the United States of America· Be a college student currently enrolled full-time or substantial part-time (minimum of 9 credit hours) in a foodservice related program at an accredited culinary school, college, or university· Have completed at least one grading term of your college or post-secondary program· Be enrolled for two consecutive terms or not entering your last semester before graduatingSTEP #2: Complete the required essays for the Academic Scholarship for Undergraduate Students.The two essays are required as part of the scholarship application packet and must be submitted with your printed and signed application form and other required documents as outlined in these instructions. Essays must be typed and double-spaced. Please put your name at the top of each page of your essays. Your essays must address each item in the essay questions.Essay #1: Personal Statement (Word Count: 150-300 words)· What is your ultimate career goal in the restaurant/foodservice industry?· Tell us about your background and experience. Discuss your education and work experience.· How will your background and experience help you to be successful in your career goal?· What do you need to do to achieve your career goals?
