Here are some of the Health Care scholarships on our site for which you may qualify.
ENA Foundation Scholarship: Master’s in Healthcare or Related Field
Funding for this scholarship is made possible through the generosity of those who contributed to the ENA Foundation in 2009. This scholarship is awarded to an emergency nurse (RN) pursuing an advance degree in healthcare. These degrees include but are not limited to degrees in business (MBA), public health (MPH), nurse education (N.Ed.) and Informatics. Requirements: Applicants must meet all standard eligibility requirementsGeneral Eligibility:? ?Applicants must be an ENA member for a minimum of twelve (12) months immediately prior to applying. Non-RN category applicants are not required to be an ENA member but a letter of reference from a current ENA member is required. A minimum of a 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) is required for consideration. Applicants must be attending a NLN or AACN accredited school and must provide verification of the schools current accreditation. Previous scholarship recipients are not eligible to reapply under the same category. However, qualified previous recipients may apply for the next category. ENA members having served in the immediate past three years on the ENA Board of Directors, ENA Foundation Board of Trustees, or ENA Foundation Scholarship Review Team are ineligible to apply.
Scholarship Award Program
Over $1,700,000 in tuition scholarships are being offered in both degree and diploma programs to Florida high school graduates. These scholarships are available in such diverse specialties as business administration, electronic engineering technology, drafting and computer assisted design, secretarial, fashion merchandising and design, accounting, cartooning/illustration, court reporting, professional mariner, culinary arts, hospitality management, private investigation, nail and skin care technology, respiratory therapy technician, travel and tourism, cosmetology, video film production and recording arts, automotive service technology, photography, industrial design technology, music and video business, allied health administration, air conditioning and refrigeration technology, paralegal studies, interior design, therapeutic massage, rescue and advanced open water diving, cardiovascular technologist, visual communication, medical or dental assisting and other business, health care and technical/career fields.
Riverview Hospital Auxiliary Hospital Employee Scholarship
The Riverview Hospital Auxiliary established a scholarship in 2000 to benefit employees of Riverview Hospital Association. An employee scholarship was implemented to meet the growing need for more nurses and other hospital-related careers. The scholarship is awarded each fall, and the total amount is $1,500 distributed over two years. Eligibility: * The applicant must be currently employed by the Riverview Hospital Association for at least six months or more and pursuing a career in a hospital -related health care field. * Accepted or awaiting acceptance for a minimum enrollment of six credits into an accredited college, university, or technical college. How to Apply: Applications are available at the Education Department of Riverview Hospital Association.
A.C. Siddall Education Trust Fund Scholarship
For residents or current/past employees of a health care facility in Allen Community Hospital District. This scholarship is for persons who wish to pursue or further their education in health care (including postgraduate or short-term refresher courses). Not for those studying to become doctors. Scholarship amounts determined by Committee. Renewable.
Dr. Steven G. Kerr Memorial Medical Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: Non-traditional student at Wenatchee Valley College enrolled in the Allied Health Program.
RENEWAL: Possible. Must reapply and will compete with new applicants.
Catherine Hertel Memorial Scholarship
Applicant studying in the School of Medicine, nursing or medical-related fields of study; maintain a 2.5 GPA. Instructions for Application: 1. All applicants must attach academic official transcripts to their applications.
Betty J. and Rolland E. Werner Scholarship Fund
Applicant studying in the School of Medicine, nursing or medical-related fields of study; maintain a 2.5 GPA. Instructions for Application: 1. All applicants must attach academic official transcripts to their applications.
Danville Regional Medical Center Auxiliary/Volunteers Scholarship
Danville Regional Medical Center employees and volunteers and their immediate families (current spouses, children, step-children or grandchildren), who are studying in a medical field. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUIRED: Please include the name of the employee or volunteer, your relationship to this person and whether they are an employee or a volunteer. If you are a volunteer, please indicate the number of hours you volunteered last year. Also, indicate the medical field you are pursuing.
United Health Foundation Scholarship
Full-time undergraduate or graduate students attending 2- or 4-year HACU-member institutions with a declared major in Health Sciences or Allied Health. Student must possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and above. Please check the website for the complete list of HACU-member institutions.
Health Care Majors Scholarships
Eligibility Criteria:•Must be of Hispanic background•Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in the United States or Puerto Rico•Must be studying at an accredited university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico for the upcoming academic year•Must be (or plan to be) enrolled full-time as an undergraduate or graduate student for the upcoming academic year•Must have earned and maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale•Must demonstrate financial need•Must be studying a major that falls under the Health Care Majors Application
