Fire Science Scholarships
Here are some of the Fire Science scholarships on our site for which you may qualify.
The Brooking Industries Scholarship
Brooking is pleased to offer an education scholarship program for dependent high school and college students of current, full-time commissioned Law Enforcement officers and qualified First Responders.
The desired degree must complement a career within the Law Enforcement, EMS, Fire, or First Responder fields. The scholarship is for the purpose of study at accredited colleges & universities.
Grant to the designated institution may be used for room and board, tuition, library fees, textbooks, and related institution-imposed fees.
Funds will be distributed directly to the institute of higher education on behalf of the student. Funds will not be distributed directly to the student.
Award
An award of $10,000 will be given (paid once) to the best video submission.
Four awards of $500 will be given (paid once) to the four runner-up videos.

Who is Eligible to apply?
Applicant must be a Maine high school graduating senior entering law enforcement or fire science. Scholarship applicants must be a full-time student entering the Southern Maine Community College at South Portland.
Scholarship amount: $500
How are the scholarships awarded? Awards are based on interest in fire science or law enforcement field.

When can I apply for this scholarship? On or after December 1 of the year prior to the award year.
What is the application deadline? Completed application must be postmarked by April 15 of the award year.
