Finance Scholarships

Here are some of the Finance scholarships on our site for which you may qualify.

John and Nancy Francis Scholarship

Finance major who has completed ECFI 201 and/or ECFI 202 with an "A" or "B."

John Garwood Scholarship

Eligibility: 1. Finance major. 2. Sophomore or higher standing in fall. 3. 3.5 GPA with at least six hours in economics.

KOCH Industries, Inc., College of Business and Leadership Scholarship

Eligibility: 1. Declared major in Management, Marketing, Accounting, Management Information Systems or Finance. 2. 3.0 or better GPA. 3. Actively involved in business organization(s), e.g. Alpha Kappa Psi, Accounting Club, DISC, etc.

Peier Family Scholarship

Applicant must be an academically qualified student majoring in Economics and Finance who has completed 60 hours.

Willard H. Erwin, Jr. (WVHFMA) (Healthcare Financial Management Assoc.) Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY:•College/University: Any College or University operated by the State of West Virginia•Financial Need: Yes•Renewable: Yes, for a total of two years contingent upon the student pursuing a regular course of study, performing up to standards of the Institution, and continuing to have need for financial assistance.•Specific preferences:(1) Juniors, seniors, or graduate students(2) Preference to student studying in business or some phase of HealthCare Finance(3) Full or part-time student General criteria that applies to most scholarships are as follows: · must be a resident of West Virginia · must be a full time student (minimum of 12 Credit Hours) · must demonstrate academic achievement (at least a 2.5 GPA) · minimum score of 20 on the ACT · must demonstrate good moral character

Charleston Rotary Club Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY•College/University: Any in WV•Financial Need: No•Renewable: Yes•Specific preferences:(1) Resident of the Charleston area(2) Field of study in business or a related field(3) Preference is given to students having prior business or entrepreneurial experience(4) Demonstrated service to their schools & communities and academic performanceGeneral Criteria:·must be a resident of West Virginia·must be a full time student (minimum of 12 Credit Hours)·must demonstrate academic achievement (at least a 2.5 GPA)·minimum score of 20 on the ACT ·must demonstrate good moral character

Johnson & Wales University Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree at Johnson & Wales University majoring in equine science, agricultural business management, agricultural economics, international agriculture, agricultural finance, dietetics, hospitality, food service management or other non-agricultural related areas. Minimum GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale required. Renewable for a full-time, day school student maintaining a minimum 3.25 GPA. Must be active and support the JWU FFA chapter as a member while enrolled at JWU.AWARD: One full-tuition scholarship valued at $22,149. Award is in the form of tuition reduction. Renewable.

Candon, Todd, & Seabolt Scholarship Fund

The Candon, Todd, & Seabolt Scholarship Fund was established in 2006 to benefit applicants studying Accounting or Finance. Requirements: Major in accounting and/or finance. Be a college Junior or Senior. Minimum GPA 3.2.

Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a two- or four-year degree in animal nutrition, animal or food science, farm/ranch or business management, general agriculture, agricultural communications, journalism, extension, public relations, economics, international agriculture, finance, sales, marketing, engineering, mechanization, biochemistry, biological sciences, biotechnology, food packaging or technology or pulp and paper technology. Minimum 2.8 GPA on a 4.0 scale is required. Must be current FFA member. Applicant must exhibit strong leadership skills and have participated in community service. Some residency requirements may apply.AWARD: 80 scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.

Blain’s Farm & Fleet Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in agricultural business management, economics, finance or international agriculture. Consideration will be given first to Blain’s Farm & Fleet employees. Financial need will be given secondary consideration. Must be a resident of one of the following cities: Belvidere, Bloomington, Bourbonnais, Decatur, Freeport, Geneseo,Loves Park, Moline, Montgomery, Morton, Ottawa, Rockford, Sterling, Sycamore, Urbana or Woodstock in Illinois; or Cedar Falls, Clinton, Davenport or Muscatine in Iowa.AWARD: Two scholarships at $2,000 each, non-renewable.

BNSF Railway Company Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree at an accredited four-year college in the following areas of agriculture: business management, economics, sales and marketing or finance. One scholarship will be awarded to members from the following states: California, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Texas. Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale required.AWARD: 10 scholarships at $5,000 each, renewable at $1,250 per year for four years, provided a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and full-time student status in approved major are maintained.

Casey’s General Stores Inc. Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a two- or four-year degree in agricultural business/farm/food service/landscape/nursery/ranch or wildlife management, communications, economics, finance, sales, marketing, engineering, mechanization, power & equipment, conservation, plant or soil science, entomology, agricultural computer systems, agricultural public service or general agriculture with a career path in agriculture or agribusiness. Resident of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota or Wisconsin required. Must exhibit strong leadership skills.AWARD: Three scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.
