This scholarship applies to students that maintains a 30 Act score or 1330 Sat score, and a 3.5 GPA .

The Imagine America Foundation created its Imagine America High School Scholarship Program in 1998 to help provide scholarships for high school students. This annual scholarship program has helped thousands of high school seniors afford a career education at hundreds of career schools across the United States. Each year, every high school in the United States and Puerto Rico may nominate up to five graduating seniors to receive a $1,000 Imagine America scholarship!

Whether it’s playing an instrument, a physical talent, or any other special skill you have, we want to hear how it’s progressed throughout your life. We want to know who has helped you grow your skills and encouraged you to keep working on your ability. Tell us about how you’ve pushed yourself to get better and why. A $500 tuition scholarship will be awarded once a year to the winning submission.

This scholarship applies for students that maintain a score of 25 on the Act or a 1330 on the Sat and a 3.0 GPA.

Catherine W. Pierce scholarship was established to support students who are majoring in disciplines within the Arts and/or History. Mrs. Pierce had a great interest in helping deserving students pursue the fields of Art or History. The award amount is up to $5,000. Open To Currently Enrolled, Full-Time Undergraduate Students, Extra Credit For Volunteer Work/Leadership The IFDA Educational Foundation established this scholarship, supported by the Georgia Chapter, to honor a past or present leader for commitment and service to the Georgia Chapter. Each year the scholarship honors a different individual whose name and contributions will be posted on the IFDA/EF website. This scholarship is available to any undergraduate student enrolled in an interior design or related program. The student must be involved with volunteer or community service and have held leadership positions during the past five years. ELIGIBILITY/GUIDELINES All applicants must have completed four design courses in post-secondary education at the time of application and be majoring in Interior Design or a related field. The completed application packet must include a sealed transcript of course work that verifies full-time status and shows your GPA. Transcript may be sent separately.

Open To Currently Enrolled, Part-Time Undergraduate Students The IFDA Educational Foundation Board of Trustees added a scholarship for a part-time undergraduate student enrolled in a continuing interior design or related program at an accredited school. Applications accepted each year between March 1 and postmarked no later than March 31. Winner will be notified by July 31. See application form for further requirements. ELIGIBILITY/GUIDELINES All applicants must have completed four design courses in post-secondary education at the time of application and be majoring in Interior Design or a related field. The IFDA Student Member Scholarship is available through the IFDA Educational Foundation to a full-time, current student member of IFDA who has completed a minimum of four design courses in a post secondary interior design or related program. An additional letter of recommendation from an IFDA Professional Member is required. The IFDA student identification number must be included on the application form. The IFDA Illinois Chapter initiated the Vercille Voss Graduate Student Scholarship in memory of Vercille Voss, longtime chapter member and mentor to new members and students. The applicant must be enrolled as a part-time or full-time graduate student at an accredited university. Application accepted each year between March 1 and postmarked no later than March 31. Aware of increasing environmental concerns worldwide, the IFDA Educational Foundation established a scholarship for a student focusing on the evolving green/sustainable field of study. Sustainable design is the development of innovative ways to create living spaces that are energy efficient and feature green/sustainable materials, fabrications and products. The student applying for this scholarship is planning to become an educated participant in the green movement. Paying equal attention to both sustainability factors and design aesthetics, the student should be demonstrating creative use of green products and eco-friendly furnishings in class projects. The student is familiar with current information in the green/sustainable field, is applying this knowledge in class work and has a goal of seeking a future LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accreditation. ELIGIBILITY/GUIDELINES All applicants must have completed four design courses in post-secondary education at the time of application and be majoring in Interior Design or a related field. To provide financial assistance and promotion of Asian American college students pursuing a major in the performing, visual arts, journalism and/or mass communications. Awards: $1,000 to be applied toward school tuition and fees General Eligibility Requirements: Must be of at least 50% Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity Must be a citizen, national or legal permanent resident of the U.S Must be either a high school senior or a college student currently enrolled full-time at an accredited U.S. vocational, junior college, or four-year college/university and must be a full-time, degree seeking student by the upcoming academic calendar year and pursuing a major in the visual/performing arts (film, theatre, fashion, photography, graphic design, dance, music, journalism, mass communications, etc.) Have demonstrated leadership abilities through participation in community service, extracurricular, or other activities Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (unweighted) Family members of Board members are ineligible Selection Criteria: Selection is based on a rating system judged in five major categories. The candidate with the highest combined cumulative points will receive the scholarship. These categories are: Quality of content submission (essay, artistic portfolio) Academic performance Leadership/community service experience and contribution Letters of recommendation Phone/in-person committee interview Please note that those Scholarship Winners will be invited to attend our annual charity event, Fashion for a Passion held in Fall in Dallas, Texas. Fashion for a Passion is our biggest event of the year which helps to raise money for our charitable causes as well as for the current scholarship. The presence of scholarship winners is highly encouraged. Funds will be disbursed directly to the educational institution in the student’s name.
