Clinton Helton Special Manufacturing Scholarship
Scholarship applicants must be full-time undergraduate students enrolled in a degree program in manufacturing engineering or technology at one of the following approved Colorado institutions: Colorado State University, University of Colorado - all campuses. Scholarship applicants must have completed a minimum of 30 college credit hours and seeking a career in manufacturing engineering or manufacturing engineering technology. (Graduate students will not be eligible for this scholarship.) Scholarship applicants must possess an overall minimum grade point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale. Students may submit a scholarship application in succeeding years. Need is not a consideration in awarding scholarships except when two or more applicants have equal qualifications.
ASHRAE Engineering Technology Scholarship
A one year $3,000 scholarship for engineering technology students enrolling in a two-year associate or bachelor degree program with all applications received and reviewed annually including reapplication from former scholarship recipients. The basic criteria on which all scholarships are granted are as follows: - Prior academic performance - Candidates must have a grade point average of at least 3.0 out of 4.0. - At least one full year of studies remaining in an engineering technology curriculum leading to an associate degree or - At least one full year of studies remaining in an ABET-accredited curriculum leading to a bachelor degree in engineering technology - Potential service to the HVAC and/or refrigeration profession - Need for financial assistance - Leadership ability - Recommendations from instructors - Character
ACI Foundation Richard D. Stehly Memorial Scholarship
Candidates completing studies for their bachelors degree from an accredited program may apply for this award. Based on essays, submitted data, and recommendations, the Scholarship Council of the ACl Foundation, a subsidiary of ACI, selects a scholarship recipient who appears to have the strongest combination of interest and potential for professional success in the concrete industry.
This undergraduate scholarship consists of a cash stipend of $3000 (U.S.) for a 1 year period. The stipend will be sent to the financial aid office of the institution designated by the applicant where the study program will be pursued. These funds will then be deposited into the recipient’s university account.
Requirements and Directions
At the time of applying for and receiving the scholarship, the applicant shall be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program from an institution of higher education that is accredited by the responsible regional or national agency.
The undergraduate study program shall be in the area of concrete with an emphasis on structural design, materials, construction, or any combination thereof.
Applicants must be full-time undergraduates at the time of applying for and receiving the scholarship. Course work during a summer session will count toward the degree year. Applications will be accepted from anywhere in the world but the undergraduate program must be ABET-accredited or a mutually recognized program by ABET.

For your application packet to be considered for this award, each of the following pieces of information must be submitted by the deadline indicated:

One-page resume (anything more than one page will not be accepted)
Essay (1 ½ page limit, 750 word maximum.) Name must appear on first page. Half a page of your essay must describe your personal activities to promote sustainability in your community.
Two (2) completed online reference forms.
All undergraduate transcripts (all universities attended during all undergraduate studies to present date) are required.
Undergraduate Student Fellowships
This program is open to students who have been or will be enrolled in any accredited institution within six months of the start of their fellowship. Institutional affiliation and citizenship restrictions may apply for some awards or facilities. It is expected that applicants will have completed one year of college by the start of their fellowship. Applicants will be reviewed on the basis of academic performance and class standing, career goals, recommendations, and compatibility of scientific interests and abilities with the needs and resources of the host facility. The fellowship term is normally eight to sixteen weeks. Renewals are competitive and require an updated application. A fellowship award includes placement on a project at a facility with a usual stipend of at least $300 per week, and may include an allowance for travel to and from the facility. Sponsors may augment the award and provide additional allowances for fellowships at the facility or on campus. Fellows will receive a certificate of participation at the end of their appointment. Participants are encouraged to seek academic credit at their home institution.
Graduate Fellowships
This program is open to master's and doctoral degree candidates enrolled in an accredited graduate program. Institutional affiliation and citizenship restrictions may apply for some awards or facilities. Applicants will be reviewed on the basis of academic performance, research potential, career goals, recommendations, and compatibility of scientific interests and proposed research with the resources of the host facility. The fellowship ranges from one to twelve months; non-thesis research applicants are generally placed for eight to sixteen weeks in the summer or for a semester. Renewals are competitive and require an updated application. Renewals beyond two years for master's candidates and three years for doctoral degree candidates will receive special review. A fellowship award may include a stipend of at least $1300 per month, tuition assistance, and an allowance for travel. Sponsors may augment the award and provide additional allowances for fellowships at the facility or on campus.
Kalamazoo Chapter 116 - Roscoe Douglas Scholarship
Criteria:
Scholarship applicants must be full-time undergraduate students enrolled in a degree program in manufacturing engineering or manufacturing engineering technology at Western Michigan University. Scholarship applicants must have completed a minimum of 30 college credit hours and are seeking a career in manufacturing engineering or manufacturing engineering technology. Scholarship applicants must possess an overall minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 point scale.
Henry Belin du Pont Dissertation Fellowship
The Henry Belin du Pont Dissertation Fellowship at the Hagley Museum and Library is designed for graduate students who have completed all course work for the doctoral degree and are conducting research on their dissertation. We invite applications from Ph.D. candidates whose research on important historical questions would benefit from use of Hagley's research collections. Applications should demonstrate superior intellectual quality, present a persuasive methodology for the project, and show that there are substantial research materials at Hagley pertinent to the dissertation.
Robert E. Altenhofen Memorial Scholarship
The award will be made to an undergraduate or graduate student, in an accredited college or university, who is either a student member or active member of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing. The selection committee will evaluate each application and apply equal weight to each item listed below. The applicant, who, in the opinion of the majority of the committee, has the highest overall ranking will be designated the recipient. The recipient is obligated to provide to the Society a final report of his/her scholastic accomplishments during the period for which the award is granted. This report must be submitted by June of the year following receipt of the award.
Ta Liang Memorial Award
The award is restricted to student members of the Society who are currently pursuing gradaute level studies in an accredited college or university. The selection committee will evaluate each application, applying necessary weights as indicated below: 40% on the basis of scholastic record. 30% on the basis of the research travel plan. 20% on the basis of letters of recommendation. 10% on the basis of community service activities. The recipient is obligated to provide to the Society and Ta Liang's family a report of his/her accomplishments during the travel for which the award is granted. This report must be submitted within one year of receipt of the award.
William A. Fischer Memorial Scholarship
The award is restricted to members of ASPRS. It is intended for a student who is currently pursuing graduate-level studies or who plans to enroll for graduate studies in an accredited college or university in the United States or elsewhere. The selection committee will evaluate each application and apply equal weight to each of the items listed below. The applicant, who, in the opinion of the majority of the committee, has the highest overall ranking will be designated as the recipient. The recipient is obligated to provide to the Society a final report of his/her scholastic accomplishments during the period for which the award is granted. This report must be submitted within one year of receipt of the award.
Space Imaging Award for App of Digital Landsat TM
Any student at undergraduate or graduate level who is enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university with image processing facilities appropriate for the conduct of the proposed work may submit a proposal for this award. Applicants must be a member of ASPRS. Recipients must prepare a written report of the project and submit it to ASPRS and EOSAT for possible company use. The report is due within one year of receipt of data from EOSAT. Recipient must execute a Data Grant and Protection Agreement prior to receipt of the data. Recipient (or his/her representative) must attend presentation ceremony during the annual meeting to receive the award certificate and plaque. Must return award plaque to ASPRS headquarters by date specified.
D.J. McDonald Memorial Scholarships
To qualify, students must be nominated by a faculty member. These nominees must be either college juniors or seniors and majoring in one of the following engineering fields: mechanical, nuclear, or welding. College transcripts and a statement detailing course of study, accomplishments, professional affiliations and goals, and financial need must accompany nominations.
