Engineering Scholarships
Here are some of the Engineering scholarships on our site for which you may qualify.
Pittsburg State U/SAE Engineering Automotive Tech
Zero hour freshmen must be in upper 20% of high school graduating class. College transfers must have a 3.5 grade point average. One $1,500 scholarship will be awarded and is renewable for three years if a 3.5 grade point average is maintained and a minimum of 30 hours completed each year.
Oklahoma State Univ (CEAT)/SAE Engineering Schp
High school graduates with a 3.75 or greater and an ACT of 28 (SAT 1250) or above who plan to major in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering. One scholarship valued at $1,000 will be awarded. This scholarship is renewable for three additional years.
Kettering University/SAE Engineering Scholarship
High school juniors and seniors, as well as high school graduates entering college for the first time are welcome to apply. Five $5,000 non-renewable scholarships will be offered to students who will pursue their education at Kettering.
Univ. of Illinois at Chicago/SAE Engineering Schp
Applicants must be incoming freshmen who will be pursuing a degree in the UIC College of Engineering with an interest in the automotive engineering applications. Selection will be based on ACT scores, high school rank, application essay, outside activities and experiences. A minimum ACT composite score of 28 (SAT=1240) is required to apply. A maximum of two $4,000 scholarships will be awarded each at $1,000 per year renewable for four years. An annual GPA of 4.0/5.0 must be maintained. The scholarship awards reduce tuition and fees for an academic year to $4,180 for State of Illinois residents and below $10,650 for non-residents.
Grand Valley State Univ/Padnos/SAE Engineering Sch
Applicants must be high school seniors intending to pursue a degree in engineering on a full time basis and must have been admitted to Grand Valley State University. One $1,000 freshman scholarship will be offered. The student may apply for renewal of the scholarship for the sophomore year.
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical Univ/SAE Engineering Sch
Incoming freshmen pursuing a degree in the College of Engineering are eligible. Requirements include a 1300 SAT or 30 ACT, a 3.5 high school GPA and involvement in high school activities. One $12,000 scholarship will be awarded at $3,000 per year for four years. A 3.0 GPA must be maintained.
Cedarville University/SAE Engineering Scholarship
Student Eligibility: Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement to incoming freshmen pursuing a degree in engineering. Criteria include ACT/SAT scores and high school GPA. Financial need is considered.
Terms: Two $1,000 freshman scholarships will be offered.

Fox River Valley Contractors Association Scholarship
Special Qualifications: • Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management. • Applicant must plan to attend Marquette Univ, MSOE, UW-Madison, UW-Platteville, UW-Milwaukee, or UW-Stout.Requirements:# Transcripts# ACT or SAT# ReferencesOther Requirements: • This scholarship is available to students in Brown, Calumet, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Manitowoc, Oconto, Outagamie, Shawano, Sheboygan, Waupaca and Waushara Counties.Renewable: YesRenewal Criteria: GPA of 2.5+
General Motors/LULAC Scholarship
Twenty $2,000 scholarships, renewable each year, are awarded to qualified minority students pursuing full-time studies at a U.S. institution leading to a bachelor's degree who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership skills, and a commitment to a career in engineering. The applicant must have a college GPA of 3.25. For entering freshman, a high school GPA of 3.5 and a score of at least 23 on the ACT or 970 on the SAT.
Homer T. Borton, P.E. Scholarship
This program is open to high school seniors who are enrolled in an ABET-appproved engineering program at an engineering college in Ohio (or at Notre Dame University). They must have earned at least a 3.0 grade point average, have scored at least 600 on their Math and 500 on the Verbal SAT's or 29 on the Math and 25 on based on high scholastic achievement and invidual contributions to society. Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
Cyril W. Neff, P.E., P.S. Memorial Scholarship
$2,500/year
Renewable for three years.
One chosen each year.
Cyril W. Neff, P.E., P.S., had a special interest in young engineers and in helping them get started in their
professional lives. In memory of his lifelong accomplishments, the Neff family established this scholarship in his
name.
Mr. Neff was a 1917 graduate of Loyola High School and a 1923 cum laud graduate of the University of Notre
Dame with a degree in civil engineering. He worked with the City of Cleveland, Cuyahoga County Engineer and State
of Ohio Department of Highway Engineers, Division 12.
In 1946 he started his own private practice which today is in its third generation as a successful consulting firm.
This scholarship is available to students from Cuyahoga, Lorain, Lake, Geauga, Medina and Ashtabula
counties only, entering Ohio colleges or the University of Notre Dame.
Eligibility Criteria - for ALL Scholarships (exceptions noted)
* 3.0 minimum grade point average (A=4)
* Minimum SAT (Math=600, Reading or Composition=500) or ACT (Math=29, English=25)
* Citizen of the U.S. & permanent resident of Ohio
* Be a graduating high school senior
AACE International Competitive Scholarships
AACE International is dedicated to advancing the study of cost engineering, and cost management through the integrative process of total cost management. To promote this objective, AACE awards academic scholarships to full-time students pursuing a related degree in engineering, construction management, building construction, computer sciences, business, quantity surveying, information technology, etc. The cost engineering profession uses the process of total cost management to identify and define those areas of business in which the discipline of cost engineering and cost management principles may be applied to plan and control resources, assets, costs, profitability, and risk. The major elements of the cost engineering discipline include estimating, project/product controls, planning and scheduling, business sciences, and project/product management.Scholarship Descriptions:AACE International scholarships are available in amounts ranging from $2000 to $8000. Specific awards will be determined based on your overall scholarship and collegiate accomplishments.Eligibility:Applicants must be currently enrolled full-time students who are enrolled in a program related to cost engineering/cost management.
