Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship
Purpose: The Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation offers these scholarships to provide a continuing source of highly qualified individuals for academic study and research in the fields of science, mathematics, and engineering. Programs Funded: Each scholarship covers eligible expenses for undergraduate tuition, fees, books, and room and board, up to a maximum of $7,500 annually. Junior-level scholarship recipients are eligible for a maximum of two years of scholarship support, and senior-level scholarship recipients are eligible for a maximum of one year of scholarship support. Eligibility: Sophomores and juniors who are outstanding students intending to pursue careers in mathematics, the natural sciences, or engineering may be nominated by the college. Cisco Scholarship
Amount: $1,200 per semester - Valued at up to $7,200. Audience: community college graduates. Eligibility: Successfully Completed prior to entering DeVry: IT Essentials I or II, or CCNA Semester I. Community college graduates must be accepted into and begin studies in one of the following technology degree programs+: Biomedical Engineering Technology (Biomedical Technology in NY) Biomedical Informatics Computer Engineering Technology Computer Information Systems Electronics Engineering Technology Game and Simulation Programming Network and Communications Management Technical Management Deadline: One year from community college graduation to apply and start at DeVry. FEA Minnesota Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to a deserving student who attends a US university/college located Minnesota. Applicants must meet general FEA scholarship eligibility requirements & preferences. Students interested in being considered for this annual scholarship should indicate this through their application forms. This scholarship is made possible by the generous support and fundraising efforts of international educators working in Minnesota.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the U.S.
Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate at a college or university in the U.S.
Must be applying for a study abroad program eligible for credit at the student’s educational institution
Must plan to study abroad for a minimum of 4 weeks in country
Is committed to supporting education abroad in his/her campus community through work with the FEA and his/her campus education abroad staff upon return
Preferences:
Applying to a study abroad program known for its academic rigor and immersion elements
Applying to a study abroad program that includes studying the language of the host country (if not English)
Applying to a study abroad program with a sustainable service-learning or volunteering component
Applying to a study abroad program in a non-traditional destination
Demonstrates financial need

FEA Texas Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to a deserving student who attends a US university/college located Texas. Applicants must meet general FEA scholarship eligibility requirements & preferences. Students interested in being considered for this annual scholarship should indicate this through their application forms. This scholarship is made possible by the generous support and fundraising efforts of international educators working in Texas.

BASAA Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to a deserving student who attends a US university/college located in the BASAA area (Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Connecticut). Applicants must meet general FEA scholarship eligibility requirements & preferences. Students interested in being considered for this annual scholarship should indicate this through their application forms.

Women in Aerospace Foundation Scholarship
The WIA Foundation is pleased to provide scholarships to women interested in a career in the aerospace field to pursue higher education degrees in engineering, math or science. One or more awards will be given each year to a rising senior in college, to be applied during the upcoming academic year.
To be eligible for the WIA Foundation Scholarship, an applicant must be interested in pursuing a career in the aerospace field and be a rising junior or senior working towards a bachelor’s degree in engineering, math or science. An applicant must have completed at least two and a half academic years of full-time college work at the time of application and must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in the United States or its territories, and plan to be enrolled in the subsequent academic year. Each applicant must have a college grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Applicants must be female of any nationality.
SMRPCO Dorothy and Jack Nicholas Scholarship
In an effort to support maintenance and reliability students, the SMRP Board of Directors has authorized two $2,000 USD scholarships for the 2015-16 academic year. Faculty are encouraged to make this application available to rising juniors and seniors in four-year maintenance and reliability focused program as well as to students in the 2nd year of a two-year maintenance program.
Hiliary Echo Douglas Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to a student who demonstrates Hiliary’s love for Vietnam and other cultures, her desire to give back to the world community, and her contagious love of life.

Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents currently enrolled as undergraduates in US universities/colleges who plan to study abroad for at least four weeks. Fund for Education Abroad awards are intended to support students planning to participate in high-quality, rigorous education abroad programs.

The DigitalGlobe Foundation Award for the Application of High-Resolution Digital Satellite Imagery
Purpose:
To support remote sensing education and stimulate the development of applications of high-resolution digital satellite imagery for applied research by undergraduate or graduate students.
Eligibility:
Full time undergraduate or graduate students at an accredited college or university in the USA or Canada with image processing facilities appropriate for conducting the proposed work.
Student member of ASPRS
Award:
A grant of satellite imagery data up to 500 square kilometers (potential value of up to $20,000), and a certificate inscribed with the recipient’s name.
This award is presented by the ASPRS Foundation, with funding provided by The DigitalGlobe Foundation.
DigitalGlobe will consider additional recipients per year based on the selection committee’s recommendation of an additional candidate’s merit.

The 500 square kilometers will be limited IKONOS and GeoEye-1 imagery from the DigitalGlobe archive and can be the following product types:

Z/I Imaging Scholarship
Purpose:
The purpose of the award is to facilitate graduate-level studies and career goals adjudged to address new and innovative uses of signal processing, image processing techniques, and the application of photogrammetry to real-world techniques within the earth imaging industry. This award is presented by a grant from the ASPRS Foundation on behalf of corporate contributions to the Foundation by Z/I Imaging, a technology company that provides innovative solutions to the earth imaging industry.
Eligibility:
The award is restricted to members of ASPRS. It is intended for a student who is currently pursuing graduate-level studies or who plans to enroll for graduate studies in a recognized college or university in the United States or elsewhere.
Award:
The award consists of a one-year Scholarship in the amount of $2,000 and a certificate.
Application:
In addition to the application form and official transcripts, applicants must submit the following items:
A 2-page statement detailing applicant’s educational and career plans for continuing studies in photogrammetric applications.
Two completed letters of reference from faculty members who have knowledge of the applicant’s capabilities.
Technical papers, research reports, or other pertinent items produced by the applicant and indicating capabilities in this field may be submitted with the application, but are not required.
Award Selection:
The Z/I Imaging Scholarship selection committee will evaluate each application and apply equal weight to each of the items listed above. The applicant who, in the opinion of the majority of the committee, has the highest overall ranking will be designated as the recipient.
NEWWA Scholarships
Additional scholarships may be awarded to students, regardless of field of study, with preference given to those candidates whose programs of study are related to the water works industry.
Students who are attending or have been accepted into appropriate college/university programs at the undergraduate level are eligible to apply. Applicants must be members of NEWWA.
Applicants must reside in New England or attend a college/university in New England to qualify.
Student Application Requirements
Student applicants must submit the following:
• Official student application form
• A two-page (maximum) résumé (that includes educational history)
• Official transcripts of all university education (if applicant has not started higher education, official transcript from high school is required)
• Two letters of recommendation (one must be from a teacher/professor; the second may be from a teacher/professor or professional reference such as an employer)
• A one-page (maximum) statement of educational plans and career objectives demonstrating how these plans are beneficial to water works practice in New England
• Copy of FAFSA (Free Applications for Federal Student Aid) confirmation
Selection Criteria – Students
The NEWWA Scholarship Committee considers application on the basis of merit, character and need to members and student members of the New England Water Works Association, with preference given to applicants whose programs are considered by the Scholarship Committee as beneficial to water works practice in New England.
