Program Description:The HSF/Hormel Scholarship Program is a scholarship of $2,500 awarded for applicants interested in a career in the food industry.In addition, interested students can apply to be considered for a paid internship. Eligibility Requirements: * Be of Hispanic heritage * Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States with a valid Social Security Number at the time of application. All legal permanent residents must submit a copy of their valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired) * Have a permanent address in one of the following Midwest states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin * Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale * Be a Junior with an intended graduation date between December and August * Be majoring in Accounting, Mechanical Engineering (includes Mechanical Technology), Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering/Technology (includes Industrial Management) Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration (includes Operations), Management, Agriculture Science/Agronomy (includes Agriculture Engineering, Agribusiness, Ag Economics, Food Service), Computer Science, Information Technology (IT/MIS) (includes Computer Information Systems), Zoology (includes Animal Science), Marketing (includes Professional Selling), Hospitality Administration (includes Hotel/Restaurant Management) or related majors * Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Program Description:The HSF/Marathon Oil Corporation Scholarship Program is a scholarship of up to $15,000 per year. Selected students may receive up to $15,000 for two academic years for a possible total award of $30,000.In addition, scholars will be offered the opportunity to participate in a possible paid 8-10 week summer internship at various Marathon Oil Corporation locations. Scholars will also be paired with a Marathon Oil Corporation employee who will serve as a professional mentor.Eligibility Requirements: * Be of Hispanic American, African American, Asian Pacific Islander American, or American Indian/Alaskan Native heritage. * Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States with a valid Social Security Number at the time of application. All legal permanent residents must submit a copy of their valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551. * Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale. * Be a current Sophomore majoring in Accounting, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Energy Management or Petroleum Land Management, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, Finance, Geology, Geophysics, Geotechnical Engineering, Global Procurement or Supply Chain Management, Information Technology (IT/MIS), Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or Transportation & Logistics. * Or be a current Senior planning to enroll in a Master's degree program in Geology or Geophysics. * Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Program Description:Through the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF), the MassMutual Financial Group is offering scholarships to assist outstanding minority students. This scholarship is open to African-American, Asian/Pacific Islander American and Hispanic undergraduate students in selected geographic locations and in selected majors. Program Description:The HSF/Monsanto Fund Scholarship Program is a scholarship of $10,000 per year. Selected students will receive $10,000 for one academic year, renewable the following year upon confirmation of continued eligibility. Although not a requirement, preference will be given to students who are participants of a College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP).Eligibility Requirements: * Be of Hispanic American heritage * Be a U.S. Citizen or a legal permanent resident of the United States with a valid Social Security Number at the time of application. Program Description:The HSF/Qualcomm Q Awards Scholarship Program provides scholarships of $5,000. By applying, students may also be contacted regarding internship opportunities with Qualcomm.Eligibility Requirements: * Be of Hispanic heritage * Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States with a valid Social Security Number at the time of application. All legal permanent residents must submit a copy of their valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired) * Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. * Must be a Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate student who plans to enroll FULL-TIME in a degree seeking program at a four year U.S. accredited institution. * Be majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering * Open to all institutions with preference given to applicants attending the University of California, Berkeley and the University of California, San Diego * Must provide a resume * Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

The Dorothy and Dick Burgess Scholarship Fund was established to provide deserving young students, who might otherwise be unable to afford it, the opportunity to attend a smaller Michigan college* *A smaller public Michigan college is defined as a 2 or 4-year College or University whose annual yearly tuition costs do not exceed $17,000. These schools include (but are not limited to) Central Michigan University, Eastern Michigan University, Grand Valley State University, Jackson Community College, Michigan Technological University, or Western Michigan University. Schools that will not be considered include (but are not limited to) the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, Hillsdale College, or Spring Arbor University. Eligibility Requirements: Proof of financial need. Cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above Demonstrate good citizenship, high moral character, and potential for leadership and academic success. Plan to pursue a course of study that leads to a degree in earth science, engineering, premedical, or Christian ministry. Proof of acceptance to a smaller, accredited Michigan 2 or 4-year college or university. Plan to complete a baccalaureate degree within four consecutive years. Awarded to an academically superior student attending Case Western Reserve University. An engineering major is preferable. (Can be renewed.)For Jewish students in Greater Cleveland. Awards are available to both full and part-time students. Students are awarded up to a maximum of $4,000 per academic year in the form of loans and grants based on the total applicant pool, total need and total available funds.

The intent of the National Hispanic University Silicon Valley Scholarship is to assist qualifying students in funding their education at NHU. The NHU Silicon Valley Scholarship is designed to assist students with the costs of tuition and fees. The Silicon Valley Scholarship application is now open to current and prospective students in a CIS program or a Mathematics and Science/Engineering AS program.

Eligibility: Women of any nationality are eligible. Defense-related and post-doctoral research programs are not eligible. Members and employees of Zonta International or the Zonta International Foundation are also not eligible. Educational Institutions: Fellowship Poster Fellowship Description Be registered in an accredited Ph.D./doctoral program in a qualifying area of science or engineering closely related to advanced studies in aerospace-related science or aerospace-related engineering. A letter of acceptance or verification of enrollment must be submitted with the application. Demonstrate a superior academic record at a recognized university or college with accredited courses in aerospace-related studies as verified by transcripts and recommendations. Provide evidence of a well-defined research program in aerospace-related science or aerospace-related engineering as described in the application essay, research and publications. Clearly demonstrate the relationship of the research to aerospace and furnish verification of her research program through at least one of the reference letters required with the application [i.e. research supervisor or advisor must be one of the referees]. Applicant must be registered in a Ph.D./doctorate program by the time the Fellowship is awarded. Award: The Fellowship of US$6,000 may be used at any university or college offering accredited post-graduate courses and degrees. Students must be registered in a Ph.D./doctoral program when funds are received. Current fellows may apply to renew the Fellowship for a second year and will undergo the same application and evaluation procedures as first-time applicants.
