University of Michigan - Ann Arbor Scholarships
Eligibility Requirements: A high school senior and a resident of Michigan. A citizen of the United States at the time of application. Have at least a 3.0 grade point average (based on a 4.0 scale) for the 10th and 11th grades. Attain a minimum composite test score of 26 on the American College Testing Program (ACT). Must be enrolled in engineering at University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. Submit a list of senior classes being taken.
NASA/KSGC SCholarship
A $1000 renewable scholarship for incoming freshmen majoring in Physics, Physical Science or Pre-Engineering. Application materials are available from the Physics Department.
Physics - Academic Opportunity Award
Scholarships are awarded to students in the following areas of study: Physics, Pre-Engineering, Engineering-Physics, and Physical Science Education. These awards are for incoming freshmen only with a minimum ACT of 23.
Western KS Manufacturing Association Scholarship
Incoming freshmen majoring in Industrial Engineering, Pre-Engineering or Business Administration will be considered. Must be a resident of area west of Highway 281.
Harry N. and Melva A. Derickson Scholarship
The Harry N. and Melva A. Derickson Scholarship Fund is an endowment fund of The Foundation for Enhancing
Communities. The income from the fund is used to assist residents from Cumberland, Dauphin and Perry Counties
for a course of study in preparation for medical or dental school, nursing, physical therapy, other medical related
fields, or engineering. Students will be enrolled in undergraduate programs at two or four year colleges or
universities. There will be multiple awards at varying amounts. It is preferred that the number of scholarships be split
equally between males and females.

1. Residents of Dauphin, Cumberland, or Perry counties
2. Desire to pursue a course of study in preparation for engineering, medical school, dental school, nursing,
physical therapy, or other medical related fields

George J. Barker Memorial Scholarship
The George J. Barker Memorial Scholarship supports graduate level educational efforts, including direct student scholarships, in arts and sciences beneficial to the cast metal industry, particularly within the Wisconsin Chapter AFS membership area.Applications are submitted electronically on the FEF website and initially evaluated by the FEF. Final evaluation and selection of grant recipients are made through an interview process conducted by the George J. Barker Memorial Research Foundation Interview and Evaluation Committee. This Committee conducts interviews of each candidate either in person or via telephone. The Committee uses a cascade of criteria in considering applications. The maximum award could be as much as $5,000.00 although many factors such as funds availability, the number of qualified applicants, the needs of the individual applicants and the screening criteria below all can affect the sizes of the awards.Residency The Applicant must be a citizen of the United States, Canada or Mexico. Preference is then given as follows: * Resident of the State of Wisconsin * Resident of a state adjacent to Wisconsin * Resident other than aboveEducation - School Preference is given as follows: * Attending an FEF accredited or affiliated school in the State of Wisconsin * Attending any other FEF accredited or affiliated school * Attending a Wisconsin school * Attending any other schoolEducation - Course of Study The Applicant must be actively pursuing graduate level studies and must be performing at an acceptable level. Preference is then given as follows: * Pursuing a course of study in Engineering or the hard sciences directly related to the foundry industry and most likely leading to employment in the foundry industry * Pursuing a course of study leading to employment in the foundry industry * Pursuing a course of study leading to employment in academia in a field related to the foundry industryWork Experience - Please include this information in the text box below It is not required that the Applicant be employed. Full time students are eligible. However, preference is given as follows: * Currently employed full time or part time by a Wisconsin foundry * Currently employed full time or part time by a foundry outside of Wisconsin * Likely to begin employment or remain employed in the foundry industry
Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a two- or four-year degree in animal nutrition, animal or food science, farm/ranch or business management, general agriculture, agricultural communications, journalism, extension, public relations, economics, international agriculture, finance, sales, marketing, engineering, mechanization, biochemistry, biological sciences, biotechnology, food packaging or technology or pulp and paper technology. Minimum 2.8 GPA on a 4.0 scale is required. Must be current FFA member. Applicant must exhibit strong leadership skills and have participated in community service. Some residency requirements may apply.AWARD: 80 scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.
Casey’s General Stores Inc. Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a two- or four-year degree in agricultural business/farm/food service/landscape/nursery/ranch or wildlife management, communications, economics, finance, sales, marketing, engineering, mechanization, power & equipment, conservation, plant or soil science, entomology, agricultural computer systems, agricultural public service or general agriculture with a career path in agriculture or agribusiness. Resident of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota or Wisconsin required. Must exhibit strong leadership skills.AWARD: Three scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.
Church & Dwight Company Inc. Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in animal nutrition, animal or dairy science, agricultural business management, finance, sales and marketing or agricultural engineering. Preference given to applicants with a demonstrated interest in a dairy-related career. Must exhibit strong leadership skills. Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale U.S. residency required.AWARD: Two scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.
Foth Production Solutions, LLC Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a two- or four-year degree in agricultural engineering, mechanization, power and equipment, biochemistry, biological sciences, biotechnology, computer systems, environmental engineering and science, food packaging, food science and technology, pulp and paper technology, soil conservation or soil science. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Applicants must reside in Wisconsin, preferably in Brown, Calumet, Dane, Dodge, Door, Kewaunee, Marinette, Oconto or Outagamie counties. Preference given to applicants who plan to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Wisconsin-Platteville, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Engineering, Madison Area Technical College or Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.AWARD: Two scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.
Irrigation Association Education Foundation Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in agricultural engineering, natural resources management, water conservation or wildlife management with interest in irrigation. Minimum 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale required.AWARD: One scholarship at $1,000, non-renewable.
