Electrical Engineering Scholarships

Eligibility Criteria:•Display outstanding achievement in the field of electronics, radio/TV or electricity.•Be a student for at least 2 semesters at the Mt. Pleasant Area Technical Center.•Be a graduating senior attending, or who has attended, the Mt. Pleasant Area Technical Center.•Be accepted to a university or college to complete career preparation.•Exhibit outstanding attitude toward school and community.

The Imagine America Foundation created its Imagine America High School Scholarship Program in 1998 to help provide scholarships for high school students. This annual scholarship program has helped thousands of high school seniors afford a career education at hundreds of career schools across the United States. Each year, every high school in the United States and Puerto Rico may nominate up to five graduating seniors to receive a $1,000 Imagine America scholarship!

High school graduates with a 3.75 or greater and an ACT of 28 (SAT 1250) or above who plan to major in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering. One scholarship valued at $1,000 will be awarded. This scholarship is renewable for three additional years.

Applicants must be incoming freshmen accepted into the College of Engineering and Technology at Bradley University. Selection is based on high school GPA, rank in class, curriculum and SAT/ACT scores. John Deere SAE Scholarships are for study in Mechanical, Electrical and Computer, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering. Bradley University SAE Engineering Scholarships are for study in all programs within the College of Engineering and Technology.

AACE International is dedicated to advancing the study of cost engineering, and cost management through the integrative process of total cost management. To promote this objective, AACE awards academic scholarships to full-time students pursuing a related degree in engineering, construction management, building construction, computer sciences, business, quantity surveying, information technology, etc. The cost engineering profession uses the process of total cost management to identify and define those areas of business in which the discipline of cost engineering and cost management principles may be applied to plan and control resources, assets, costs, profitability, and risk. The major elements of the cost engineering discipline include estimating, project/product controls, planning and scheduling, business sciences, and project/product management.Scholarship Descriptions:AACE International scholarships are available in amounts ranging from $2000 to $8000. Specific awards will be determined based on your overall scholarship and collegiate accomplishments.Eligibility:Applicants must be currently enrolled full-time students who are enrolled in a program related to cost engineering/cost management. These programs include: * Agricultural Engineering * Architectural Engineering * Building Construction * Business Administration * Chemical Engineering * Civil Engineering * Industrial Engineering * Manufacturing Engineering * Mechanical Engineering * Mining Engineering * Electrical Engineering * Quantity SurveyingApplicants in their final undergraduate year must have been accepted to attend a full-time graduate program in the next academic year to qualify for a scholarship.

AFCEA DC awards multiple single-year standard scholarships in the amount of $4,000 each, and one single-year scholarship in the amount of $8,000 to Metro-area high school seniors in the Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia and Maryland area. Second-year students in area community colleges who are entering a four-year college may apply for one-time scholarships of $2,000. Scholarship awards are provided to qualified students pursuing degrees in the C4I-related fields of engineering (electrical, computer, chemical, aerospace or systems); electronics; mathematics; computer science; physics; science education; mathematics education; technology management; or management information systems.

The Asian Pacific Community Fund partners with Verizon to financially assist students in their pursuit of higher education as they face the challenge of significantly rising costs of obtaining a college degree. These awards will support those who excel academically, are leaders amongst their peers and are making a positive impact in their communities. The Stokes Educational Scholarship Program (formerly known as the Undergraduate Training Program) was proposed and introduced into legislation in 1986. Its purpose is to facilitate the recruitment of individuals, particularly minority high school students, who have demonstrated skills critical to NSA. Stokes provides a tremendous opportunity to gain valuable experience in your field while attending college and getting a degree. Stokes is open to high school seniors planning on majoring in computer science or computer/electrical engineering. As an NSA employee with the Stokes Program, you will attend college full-time, receive up to $30,000 per year for tuition and mandatory fees; and work during the summers at NSA for 12 weeks in areas that are related to your course of study. You'll acquire real-world experience and receive a year-round salary. Please note: must maintain a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale after your freshman year, if selected as a program participant, you are required to work in your area of study for NSA after your college graduation for at least one-and-one-half times the length of study. If you leave NSA employment earlier, you must reimburse the government for your tuition.
