Education Scholarships
Here are some of the Education scholarships on our site for which you may qualify.
Howard Rock Foundation Graduate Scholarship Prgm
1. Applicant must be enrolled as a graduate student and must maintain at least a 3.0 grade point average. 2. Graduate degree programs include Master degrees such as Master of Arts (M.A.), Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.), and Master of Teaching (M.A.T.); and doctorate degrees such as Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), Doctor of Education (Ed.D.), etc.
Minority Teacher/Special Education Scholarship
To be eligible you must be: 1. A minority student (defined as Black or Hispanic) seeking a teaching certification; or A student seeking a special education teaching certification; or A student seeking an Occupational or Physical Therapy certification. 2. An Indiana resident. 3. Admitted to an eligible institution as a full-time student or already attending as a full-time student. 4. Pursuing or intend to pursue a course of study that would enable the student upon graduation to teach in an accredited elementary or secondary school in Indiana. In addition, students who are already enrolled in college, must have a grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.0 on a scale of 4.0 or the equivalent, or meet the minimum GPA requirements established at the college for its school of education, if it is higher. Colleges are responsible for making the actual awards. They may not base the awards solely on merit based factors. Financial need may be considered but is not a requirement. Preference will be given to minority students and students enrolling in college for the first time. Scholarships are not transferable between universities.
Kamehameha Schools Class of 1963 Scholarship
Pursuing a degree that will support the following areas of interest: Advancing the Hawaiian Language, Charter School Support, Land Stewardship or Early Childhood Education and Literacy
Submit one letter of recommendation from a teacher or a community member/organization who can comment on your overall character, achievement and contribution to serve the greater community
General criteria:
• Must be a classified undergraduate student
• Enrolled in a degree-seeking program, unless specifically noted
• Enrolled in a two- or four-year, accredited* college institution in Hawai`i or the continental U.S.
• Full-time status, unless specifically noted
• Demonstrate interest in Hawaiian language, culture, history
• Demonstrate a commitment to contribute to the greater community.

Applications are open to the general public. However, it is the policy of the Pauahi Foundation to give preference to applicants of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law.
Charlie Mann Scholarship
Recipient must be from Kansas with first preference given to students pursuing a teaching profession. The scholarship will be renewable if the recipient maintains a 3.0 GPA.
Clarence, May and Lawrence Rarick Memorial Scholarship
Applicants must be seniors majoring in Education who are residents of western Kansas.
College of Education Endowed Scholarship
Scholarships are awarded to students in the College of Education.
Earl and Anna Dragoo Scholarship
Applicants must major in a department of the College of Education. The College of Education Scholarship Committee will determine other criteria.
Edna Shutts Williams Educational Trust
Recipients must be Education majors with a 3.0 GPA or better. Successful applicants should be interested in and planning actual classroom and student interaction. Students should be ones who could not otherwise afford to continue their education without the assistance in whole or in part of this scholarship.
Ellsworth and Zella B. Dodrill Scholarship
Applicants must be majoring in Education.
Frank and Wilma Craft Scholarship
Preference to juniors or seniors majoring in Technology Studies with an emphasis in woodworking, drafting, or construction; or History with an emphasis in Education. Applicants must have a minimum 3.5 GPA in their major field of study with a minimum 3.3 GPA overall, demonstrate financial need and show promise of post-graduate work.
Herbert R. Baker Scholarship
Recipient to be an Education major.
Irene F. and W.J. Billinger Scholarship
A renewable scholarship available to a graduate Special Education major. Awarded in even numbered years.
