Mary Stuart Rogers Scholarship (for Teacher Credential Program students)
Eligibility: Education Major • For students accepted into the Teachers Credential Program (one year award)• Financial need required • Statement of Objectives should convey a demonstrated commitment to personal growth, and the desire to serve others.• Two letters of recommendations from CSU Stanislaus faculty members• 300 word essay describing “Why I want to be a Rogers’ Scholar” (separate from Educational and Career Goals Statement)• Liberal Studies Students may apply for third year award in Teacher Credential Program GPA: 3.50
Muriel Etla Carr Scholarship

The Sheuerman Scholarship in Teaching

Stanislaus Retired Teachers Foundation Scholarship
Eligibility: Education Major • Accepted into the Teacher Credential Program• U.S. citizen and legal resident of California GPA: 3.00
J. Burton Vasche Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Major: BUSINESS/ECONOMICS/EDUCATION/MUSIC GPA: 3.50 Class Level: Continuing or Graduate student (Named in memory of CSU Stanislaus • Upper division or graduate standing• Evidence of campus leadership
Dairy Farmers of America Scholarships
At Dairy Farmers of America, we believe it is important to invest in the next generation of leaders to ensure a bright future for the dairy industry. That is why we established the DFA Cares Foundation Scholarship Program.
The Foundation awards scholarships to three categories of students:
Incoming freshmen: High school seniors or recent graduates who have been accepted to college, but have not yet started classes
Undergraduate students: Students who are currently participating in an associate’s or bachelor’s degree program, but have not yet graduated
Graduate/professional students: Students enrolled in a graduate or professional degree program
Scholarships are available to students pursuing a career in the dairy industry or a related field:
Dairy herd management/production
Large animal veterinary medicine
Marketing/economics/finance
Processing/manufacturing
Communications/journalism
Quality assurance

Must be enrolled in or applying for an accredited degree program during the next scholarship year

Tomorrow's Teachers Scholarship Program
Who Is Eligible?
To be eligible for a Tomorrow's Teachers Scholarship Program, a student must:
Rank in the top 25% of his/her graduating high school class (at time of application)
Be a permanent legal resident of Massachusetts.
Be a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen.
Agree to enroll and complete a four year bachelor's degree program in an eligible college or university leading to teacher certification.
Agree to teach for four years in Massachusetts public schools.
Award Amounts
The Tomorrow's Teachers Scholarship Program provides payment of full tuition and required fees at eligible public colleges and universities. For students attending a Massachusetts private college or university, the scholarship award is capped at the highest level awarded at a public institution. The scholarships are awarded at a maximum of four years.
Award Priorities
Priority in granting Tomorrow's Teachers Scholarship awards will be given to eligible students who:
Commit to teach in a subject area for which there is a documented teacher shortage in Massachusetts.
Commit to a geographic region or school district where there is a documented teacher shortage in Massachusetts.
What Are The Obligations For Accepting The Scholarship?
Enroll as a full time student at an eligible college or university.
Pursue studies, as a full time student, in a program leading to teacher certification.
Maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA on all college work.
Agree to teach in a Massachusetts public school one year for each year of scholarship assistance received.
Forfeiture of Scholarship Award
Students who participate in the Tomorrow's Teachers Scholarship Program, but do not complete their college education within six years of entering college, or who fail to complete their teaching obligation, must repay the scholarship. Repayment of the all scholarship proceeds will be prorated according to the fraction of teaching not completed, with interest, as determined by the Board of Higher Education.
How Do I Apply?
Interested students must complete the Tomorrow's Teachers Scholarship application. Two letters of recommendation are required, as well as a copy of the student's high school transcript.
