Dairy Farmers of America Scholarships
At Dairy Farmers of America, we believe it is important to invest in the next generation of leaders to ensure a bright future for the dairy industry. That is why we established the DFA Cares Foundation Scholarship Program.
The Foundation awards scholarships to three categories of students:
Incoming freshmen: High school seniors or recent graduates who have been accepted to college, but have not yet started classes
Undergraduate students: Students who are currently participating in an associate’s or bachelor’s degree program, but have not yet graduated
Graduate/professional students: Students enrolled in a graduate or professional degree program
Scholarships are available to students pursuing a career in the dairy industry or a related field:

Large animal veterinary medicine

Must be enrolled in or applying for an accredited degree program during the next scholarship year

Estelle Siebens Excellence Scholarship
* One scholarship awarded annually worth up to US$10,000 per annum * For study in the US and Canada at the undergraduate and graduate levels * Approved fields of study are agriculture, architecture, economics, education, engineering, marine construction, marine design and manufacturing systems Giving primarily in the Bahamas.
Carl H. Marrs Scholarship Fund
Established in 2001 by The CIRI Foundation through funds provided by Barbara Donatelli, Craig and Thea Floerchinger, Mark and Leslie Kroloff, and Kirk McGee and Gloria ONeill in recognition of Carl H. Marrs, President/CEO of Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (1995-2004) for his vigorous advocacy of Pre-K-12 and post-secondary opportunities for CIRI shareholders, original enrollees, and their direct lineal descendants. Scholarships in business administration, economics, finance, organizational management, accounting or similar fields.
Cox Newspaper Minority Journalism Scholarship
The scholarship is intended to provide total financial support for highly-motivated minority students (African-American, Asian-American, Hispanic, Native American and people of color) who are citizens for four years of study who wish to pursue a career in the newspaper industry. This scholarship is for four-years of study in any one of the following areas of study: Journalism, Mass Communications, Economics, English, Accounting, Political Science, History, Public Policy, Urban Studies, Advertising. Cox Enterprises Inc., a multi media company headquartered in Atlanta, offers a full paid, four year scholarship to high school seniors who will graduate from the metro school system served by one of the following newspapers: West Palm Beach Post (Florida), Austin-American Statesman (Texas), and Atlanta Journal-Constitution (Georgia). Only one scholarship is offered each calendar year and only one newspaper is selected to administer the program.
Helen L. Siebert Scholarship
This award offers a scholarship of up to $500, for a student who will attend Purdue University with preference given to those students majoring in the field of Family and Consumer Science. Scholarship award amounts vary from year to year. Awards are made based upon the pool of qualified applicants. Requirements: Be in the top 10% of this year’s graduating class
AT&T Foundation Scholarship
Scholarship Value: $5,000 Classifications: Undergraduate Junior Minimum GPA: 3.0 Eligible Majors: Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Information Systems, Marketing, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Management, Mechanical Engineering, Management Information Systems Eligible Schools: UNCF Member Colleges and Universities Eligible Locations: Missouri, California, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, Kansas, Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma Scholarship Detail: AT&T Foundation will award scholarships in the amount of $5,000 to selected recipients within their three service areas: Midwestern Region, Southwestern Region and the state of California.
Citigroup Fellows Program
Scholarship Value: $6,400 Classifications: Undergraduate Sophomore Minimum GPA: 3.0 Eligible Majors: Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science/MIS, Computer Science, Banking, Business-Related, Information Technology, Business Sales , Computer Engineering, Management, Management Information Systems Eligible Schools: UNCF Member Colleges and Universities (please check the website for the complete list) Eligible Locations: Open Scholarship Detail: This program provides a $6,400 scholarship for the junior and senior years, the personal attention of Citigroup professionals as mentors, and professional development conferences. Applicants must be a US citizen and intend to pursue a career in business. JPMorgan Chase/UNCF Corporate Scholars Program
Eligible Majors: Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Marketing, Computer Science/MIS, Computer Science, Operations Management Scholarship Detail: The United Negro College Fund (UNCF) and JPMorgan Chase have partnered to provide rising juniors enrolled in baccalaureate degree programs valuable work experiences with JPMorgan Chase as well as financial support during the following academic year. Successful completion of the internship makes one eligible to receive a need-based scholarship up to $10,000. Internship sites may be in JPMorgan Chase locations in New York and Chicago. In addition to completing the online application, students must provide an official transcript, resume and faculty recommendation.
