HSF/GE Hispanic Forum Scholarship Program

Eligibility Requirements: Be of Hispanic heritage Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired) or be granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Must intend to enroll as an undergraduate Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior or 5th Year Senior in the next academic year and be pursuing first undergraduate degree Must major in one of the following: Accounting, Aeronautics/Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, Biochemistry, Bioengineering/Biotechnology, Biology, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computational Biology/Bioinformatics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybernetics/Robotics, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Finance, Industrial Engineering/Technology, Information Technology (IT/MIS), International Business, Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Marketing, Materials Science/Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Mechanical Engineering, Neuroscience, Nuclear Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Physics, Science, Supply Chain Management, Telecommunications Have plans to enroll FULL-TIME at a four-year U.S. accredited college or university in the geographic locations listed above. Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). DACA applicants must submit household income information. Asian Pacific Community Fund - Verizon Scholarship Awards Program

The Asian Pacific Community Fund partners with Verizon to financially assist students in their pursuit of higher education as they face the challenge of significantly rising costs of obtaining a college degree. These awards will support those who excel academically, are leaders amongst their peers and are making a positive impact in their communities. Eligibility: Students who are residents of California, Oregon or Washington OR students attending college in one of those states High School Senior who plan to enroll as a 1st year college student in a U.S. accredited 4-year college or university as a full-time, degree-seeking student majoring in math, engineering, or a science (Please check website for complete listing of majors eligible for this scholarship) Have a minimum cumulative unweighted high school GPA of 3.0

MillerCoors Engineering and Science Scholarship

Amount: $ 3,000 /Renewable Criteria •Junior or Senior university classification by the Fall Semester •Open to Biochemistry, Computer Science, *Electrical Engineering, and *Mechanical Engineering (*All engineering majors may apply but preference will be given to these engineering majors first) •Must be U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident •Must be of Hispanic descent •Must have a 3.0 GPA or above on a 4.0 scale •Maintain full-time enrollment status (12 hours) for the duration of the scholarship period •Provide two letters of recommendation highlighting leadership potential •Scholar must attend Adelante's Annual Leadership Institute in San Antonio, TX on Oct. 19-21 (Sponsorship to attend is included along with the scholarship) •Must attend a Partnering University

AGL Resources Energy Scholarship/Internship Program

AGL Resources is a leading natural gas company which serves 4.5 million customers across seven states. Our corporate headquarters is located in Atlanta, Georgia. The program will provide emergency scholarships for seniors. AL/MS Section AWWA Scholarships

For Individuals Interested in Pursuing Careers in the Water Works Industry in Alabama and Mississippi The Alabama/Mississippi Section of the American Water Works Association can help! Complete scholarship applications by February 1 and direct to Mr. Jim Miller. Each applicant must complete and submit the following: 1. Official Application Form (check website for the Application Form) 2. Resume (that includes educational, licensure, and experience) 3. Personal Statement 4. Letter of Support or recommendation from the sponsoring utility,individual member or academic advisor 5. Academic applicants only, transcripts of education and proof of student status For individuals pursuing advanced licensure or training in the water works (science) field. - Sponsored by an AL-MS AWWA Water Utility Member (Up to 3 awarded + $1,000 upon completion & employed within the section) For individuals pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in the water works (science) field. - Graduate Level (Up to 3 awarded + $1,000 upon completion & employed within the section) - Undergraduate Level (Up to 3 awarded + $1,000 upon completion & employed within the section)

STEM Scholarships

The NSHSS Foundation provides STEM scholarships for underrepresented groups in order to help reduce financial barriers for those with academic and leadership potential and the desire to pursue STEM careers. We recognize that in order to increase diversity in the technology workforce, we must increase diversity in undergraduates. The Foundation awards scholarships to applicants who are pursuing a degree in, or closely related to, one of the following STEM disciplines: Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering Biosciences/Pre-med/health-related fields Chemical Engineering Chemistry Civil Engineering Cognitive, Neural, and Behavioral Sciences Computer and Computational Sciences, including Statistics and Accounting Electrical Engineering Geosciences Information Sciences Materials Science and Engineering Mathematics Mechanical Engineering Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering Nuclear Engineering Oceanography Operations Research Physics Teaching in STEM areas

NSHSS Foundation Scholarships

NSHSS Foundation scholarships have been created to help reduce financial barriers for high school students as they prepare for upcoming careers in STEM majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), business, economics, public policy, and environmental science and sustainability. The Foundation seeks to engage these future leaders in order to help fuel the global economy, stimulate innovation and creativity, and yield a strong ethical foundation for decision-making. We seek to support higher education to enable our future leaders to achieve their dreams.

AREMA Educational Foundation Scholarships

General criteria for all scholarship applicants include having an interest in railway engineering, maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.0, and being available for interview by the AREMA Scholarship Committee. Enrolled student who has completed at least one quarter or semester in an accredited* four or five year engineering or engineering technology undergraduate degree program.

AREMA Presidential Scholarship

General criteria for all scholarship applicants include having an interest in railway engineering, maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.0, and being available for interview by the AREMA Scholarship Committee. Enrolled student who has completed at least one quarter or semester in an accredited* four or five year engineering or engineering technology undergraduate degree program.

Canadian National Railway Company Scholarship

General criteria for all scholarship applicants include having an interest in railway engineering, maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.0, and being available for interview by the AREMA Scholarship Committee. Enrolled student who has completed at least one quarter or semester in an accredited* four or five year engineering or engineering technology undergraduate degree program.

Committee 1 - Roadway & Ballast Scholarship

General criteria for all scholarship applicants include having an interest in railway engineering, maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.0, and being available for interview by the AREMA Scholarship Committee. Enrolled student who has completed at least one quarter or semester in an accredited* four or five year engineering or engineering technology undergraduate degree program.

Committee 18 - Light Density & Short Line Railways Scholarship

General criteria for all scholarship applicants include having an interest in railway engineering, maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.0, and being available for interview by the AREMA Scholarship Committee. Enrolled student who has completed at least one quarter or semester in an accredited four or five year engineering or engineering technology undergraduate degree program.
