NDSEG Fellowship Program
The NDSEG Fellowship Program is open only to applicants who are citizens or nationals of the United States. Persons who hold permanent resident status are not eligible to apply. NDSEG Fellowships are intended for students at or near the beginning of their graduate studies in science or engineering. Applicants must receive or be on track to receive their baccalaureate degrees by the upcoming Fall. Preference to applicants pursuing doctoral study and research in aeronautical and astronautical engineering, biosciences (including toxicology), chemical engineering, chemistry, cognitive, neural and behavioral sciences, computer science, electrical engineering, geosciences, materials science and engineering, mathematics, mechanical engineering, naval architecture and ocean engineering, oceanography, and physics (includes optics). Recommended GPA is 3.0 and higher. Applications are encouraged from women, persons with disabilities and minorities, including ethnic minority groups such as American Indian, Black, Hispanic, Native Alaskan (Eskimo or Aleut) or Pacific Islander (Polynesian or Micronesian). NDSEG Fellows may choose as their fellowship institutions appropriate United States institutions of higher education offering advanced degrees in science or engineering. During part of their tenure, fellows may study or engage in research or field work away from their academic institutions if, in the judgment of the faculty, such arrangements further the fellow's education and contribute directly to the attainment of an advanced degree, and the fellow is officially enrolled and earning academic credit.
PLAN/NH Fellowship
Grants for $2,500 are available for highly qualified sophomores, juniors and seniors and $5,000 for graduate-level architectural students who are planning to pursue careers aimed at improving the built environment in northern New England. Undergraduate candidates must be New Hampshire residents currently enrolled in an accredited program at a New England university or college that leads to a degree in architecture, mechanical engineering, interior design, or studio art. Graduate candidates must be New Hampshire residents enrolled in any NAAB accredited program leading to a masters degree in architecture. The award may be renewed if the candidate demonstrates high academic achievement and commitment to their discipline. Funds may be used for any educational expense, including room and board. Candidates should have achieved a superior grade point average and demonstrated general excellence in their field of study. In addition to academic achievement, selection criteria stress the following: a. An activist orientation showing excellent potential for having a positive effect on the built environment of northern New England. b. A demonstrated dedication to a life's work in the chosen field. c. Leadership experience and the ability to communicate and promote solutions. d. Breadth of skills including the flexibility and creativity required to work with diverse interest groups. e. Work experience in a related or relevant field. f. A New England focus that will most likely lead to application of the candidate's skills and training to solving problems of the built environment in New Hampshire or northern New England.
ACI Foundation Fellowships
ACI Foundation Fellowships range from $7,000 to $10,000, and are awarded to high-potential undergraduate and graduate students who are studying engineering, construction management, or other related fields of study in the area of concrete. Fellowship applicants must be nominated by a faculty member who is also an ACI member to be considered for these awards. Those students receiving Fellowships also receive paid travel and registration to two ACI Conventions, assignment to an industry mentor, and a summer internship, in some cases. Available Fellowships include the ACI Presidents’ Fellowship, two ACI Baker Student Fellowships, ACI Elmer Baker Student Fellowship, ACI Richard N. White Student Fellowship, ACI BASF Construction Chemicals Student Fellowship, ACI Cagley ACI Student Fellowship, and ACI Charles Pankow Foundation ACI Student Fellowship ACI Richard D. Stehly Memorial Fellowship, and a new Fellowship in honor of the Founders of the ACI Fellowship Program, who are Dan Baker of Baker Construction, Jim and Sharon Cagley and Cagley & Associates, and Tom Verti of Pankow representing the Charles Pankow Foundation.
American Inst. of Architects/San Antonio College
For U.S. citizens, who: - are currently enrolled in Architecture Program at San Antonio College - have completed 30+ semester hours - have a 3.0 GPA - are in good academic standing Nominator: AIA Scholarship Committee
American Institute of Architects/UTSA Scholarship
For U.S. citizens who: - area a Junior, senior or graduate student in Architecture Program at University of Texas at San Antonio - have completed 59 semester hours or more; - have a 3.0 GPA - are in good academic standing Nominator: AIA Scholarship Committee
General Scholarships
To qualify, you must be a woman and have COMPLETED at least your first year in architecture; landscape architecture; civil, structural, mechanical or electrical engineering as related to architecture; urban and land planning; interior design; environmental design or architectural rendering and illustration. You must be attending a California school or be a California resident attending an out-of-state school. You must be enrolled for the ensuing year. A maximum of ten students will be chosen as finalists. They MUST APPEAR, at their own expense, for a mandatory interview in Los Angeles.
Joseph L. & Vivian E. Steele Architecture Scholarship
The Joseph L. and Vivian E. Steele Fund of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities is used annually to grant
scholarships to students in need of financial assistance who are in the final three years of a Bachelor of Architecture
program or in a graduate program leading to a Master of Architecture degree.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Students who are present/former residents of the following counties: Adams, Bedford, Blair, Centre, Clinton,
Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lycoming, Mifflin, Montour,
Northumberland, Perry, Snyder, Tioga, Union, or York
2. Students studying in the final three years of a Bachelor of Architecture program or in a graduate program
leading to a Master of Architecture degree
3. Financial Need
Charles D. Mayo Student Scholarship
Scholarship recipient must be a full-time student, in a design-related degree program. Scholarship recipient will be selected by the IFDA Educational Foundation Board based on the student's academic achievement, future plans and goals. Data will be supplied in this application, the student's essay and the letter of recommendation from the professor or instructor.
Vercille Voss Student Scholarship
Scholarship recipient must be a current IFDA student member with dues paid in full prior to submission of the scholarship application. Scholarship recipient must be a full-time student. Scholarship recipient will be selected by the IFDA Educational Foundation Board based on the student's academic achievement, future plans and goals. Data will be supplied in this application, the student's essay and the letter of recommendation from the professor or instructor.
Bechtel Corporation Scholarship
It is awarded to an active SWE Student Member in her sophomore, junior or senior year, majoring in chemical, architectural, electrical, environmental or mechanical engineering. All SWE scholarships are open only to women majoring in engineering or computer science in a college or university with an ABET-accredited program or in a SWE-approved school, and who will be in a specified year of study during the academic year the grant payment is made. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0/4.0 or above.

Be a current full-time undergraduate (not an incoming Freshman) or graduate student enrolled in a program at an accredited college, university or vocational school, or accredited specialized study program. Part-time students are not eligible.
