Aircraft Mechanics Scholarships

Here are some of the Aircraft Mechanics scholarships on our site for which you may qualify.

Lee Tarbox Memorial Scholarship

The scholarship will be available to high school seniors and/or college students who plan to or are attending an accredited school in an avionics or aircraft repair program. Scholarships are awarded without regard to sex, race, creed, religion, age or country of origin. All scholarships are based on merit with restrictions. Scholarship applicants must have at least a 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 point scale) to apply for a scholarship. Selection factors include expression of mechanical ability, aviation interests, class attendance, motivation, technical aptitude, scholastic record, responsibility, and commitment to the aviation industry. Scholarships do not apply to pilot training, instrument ratings, or air traffic control programs.

David Arver Memorial Scholarship

Given by Dutch and Ginger Arver in memory of their son, David. Dutch Arver was a supporter of the AEA for years and served on the board of directors until his retirement. The recipient of this scholarship shall be a high school senior or college student who plans to attend or is attending an accredited avionics or aircraft maintenance program.

BFGoodrich Component Services Scholarship

Available to high school seniors, and/or college students who plan to or are attending an accredited school in an avionics or aircraft repair program. Scholarships are awarded without regard to sex, race, creed, religion, age or country of origin. All scholarships are based on merit with restrictions. Scholarship applicants must have at least a 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 point scale) to apply for a scholarship. Selection factors include expression of mechanical ability, aviation interests, class attendance, motivation, technical aptitude, scholastic record, responsibility, and commitment to the aviation industry. Scholarships do not apply to pilot training, instrument ratings, or air traffic control programs.

Bud Glover Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is available to high school seniors and/or college students who plans to or are attending an accredited school in an avionics or aircraft repair program. Scholarships are awarded without regard to sex, race, creed, religion, age or country of origin. All scholarships are based on merit with restrictions. Scholarship applicants must have at least a 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 point scale) to apply for a scholarship. Lowell Gaylor Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is available to high school seniors and/or college students who plan to or are attending an accredited school in an avionics or aircraft repair program. Scholarships are awarded without regard to sex, race, creed, religion, age or country of origin. All scholarships are based on merit with restrictions. Scholarship applicants must have at least a 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 point scale) to apply for a scholarship. Universal Avionics Systems Corporation Scholarship

Available to high school seniors and/or college students who plan to or are attending an accredited school in an avionics program or aircraft maintenance program. Please Note:  Scholarship monies must be used to cover the cost of tuition, books and/or tools only.  Scholarship monies cannot be used for any type of flight training or air traffic control programs.  Scholarships will be made payable to the recipient and his/her school, and must be endorsed by both parties.  Scholarship monies will not be disbursed until the student has enrolled per the scholarship sponsor’s criteria (verified by the school’s business office).  All scholarships are merit based with restrictions.  Scholarship applicants must have at least a cumulative 2.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale

Rockwell Collins Scholarship

Available to high school seniors and/or college students who plan to or are attending an accredited school in an avionics or aircraft repair program. Please Note:  Scholarship monies must be used to cover the cost of tuition, books and/or tools only.  Scholarship monies cannot be used for any type of flight training or air traffic control programs.  Scholarships will be made payable to the recipient and his/her school, and must be endorsed by both parties.  Scholarship monies will not be disbursed until the student has enrolled per the scholarship sponsor’s criteria (verified by the school’s business office).  All scholarships are merit based with restrictions.  Scholarship applicants must have at least a cumulative 2.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale

The Stone Foundation Scholarship

Available to high school seniors and/or college students who plan to or are attending an accredited school in an avionics or aircraft repair program. Please Note:  Scholarship monies must be used to cover the cost of tuition, books and/or tools only.  Scholarship monies cannot be used for any type of flight training or air traffic control programs.  Scholarships will be made payable to the recipient and his/her school, and must be endorsed by both parties.  Scholarship monies will not be disbursed until the student has enrolled per the scholarship sponsor’s criteria (verified by the school’s business office).  All scholarships are merit based with restrictions.  Scholarship applicants must have at least a cumulative 2.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale

L-3 Aviation Products Scholarship

Available to high school seniors and/or college students who plan to or are attending an accredited school in an avionics or aircraft repair program. Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics Scholarship

Available to high school seniors and/or college students who plan to or are attending an accredited school in an avionics or aircraft repair program. Garmin - Jerry Smith Memorial Scholarship

Available to high school, college or vocational/technical school students who plan to or are attending an accredited vocational/technical school in an avionics or aircraft repair program. Please Note:  Scholarship monies must be used to cover the cost of tuition, books and/or tools only.  Scholarship monies cannot be used for any type of flight training or air traffic control programs.  Scholarships will be made payable to the recipient and his/her school, and must be endorsed by both parties.  Scholarship monies will not be disbursed until the student has enrolled per the scholarship sponsor’s criteria (verified by the school’s business office).  All scholarships are merit based with restrictions.  Scholarship applicants must have at least a cumulative 2.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale

Duncan Aviation Scholarship

Available to high school seniors and/or college students who plan to or are attending an accredited school in an avionics or aircraft repair program.
