Bernie Staller Endowment Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in agricultural education with career plans to teach agriculture education at the secondary level. Must complete financial analysis section of application and demonstrate financial need.AWARD: Approximately one scholarship at $2,500. Not guaranteed.
J. Glyndon Stuff Memorial Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in agricultural education. Applicant must exhibit home, school and community involvement and volunteerism. Resident of Illinois required.AWARD: Approximately one scholarship at $500. Not guaranteed
Tyrholm Big R Stores Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in any area of agriculture. Selection will be based on involvement in local community and FFA chapter activities, leadership potential, written recommendation from FFA advisor, academic achievement and financial need. Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale required. FFA chapter must be located in Modoc or Siskiyou counties in California, or in Crook, Deschutes, Jackson, Jefferson, Klamath or Lake counties in Oregon.AWARD: Three scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.
Tyson Foods Inc. Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a two- or four-year degree in general agriculture; animal nutrition or science; farm and ranch management; poultry science; agricultural communications, journalism or public relations; management and finance; marketing and sales; or select area science and engineering. Must be a resident of a community in which a Tyson Foods processing facility is located. Scholarship recipients will be provided information regarding possible internship/part-time employment opportunities at Tyson Foods Inc.AWARD: 10 scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.
Virgil Eihusen Foundation Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a two- or four-year degree in any area of agriculture. Resident of Nebraska required.AWARD: One scholarship at $1,400, non-renewable.
Western Dairy Farmers Promotion Association John Elway – Melba FFA Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a degree in any field of agriculture or agribusiness. Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale required. Must be resident of Idaho. Preference given to members of the Melba FFA Chapter in Idaho.AWARD: Approximately one scholarship at $300. Not guaranteed.
Charles P. Lake - Rain for Rent Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: One scholarship to applicants pursuing a four-year degree in general agriculture, agricultural business management, agricultural engineering, agriculture power and equipment or soil or water conservation with preference to those specializing in irrigation and soil technology. Must be a resident of Arizona, California or Idaho. One scholarship to applicants pursuing a four-year degree in environmental engineering. Must be a resident of Illinois, Louisiana or Texas. All applicants must have completed freshman year and have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale required. Applicants will be considered on the basis of scholastic achievement, leadership skills, community involvement, then financial need. Recipients must be willing to provide a picture for publicity purposes and tour a Rain for Rent facility.AWARD: Two scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.
Business Majors Scholarship
Eligibility Criteria:•Must be of Hispanic background•Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in the United States or Puerto Rico•Must be studying at an accredited university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico for the upcoming academic year•Must be (or plan to be) enrolled full-time undergraduate or graduate student for the upcoming academic year•Must have earned and maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale•Must demonstrate financial need•Must be studying a major that falls under the Business Majors
HSF/Hormel Scholarship
Program Description:The HSF/Hormel Scholarship Program is a scholarship of $2,500 awarded for applicants interested in a career in the food industry.In addition, interested students can apply to be considered for a paid internship. Eligibility Requirements: * Be of Hispanic heritage * Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States with a valid Social Security Number at the time of application. All legal permanent residents must submit a copy of their valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired) * Have a permanent address in one of the following Midwest states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin * Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale * Be a Junior with an intended graduation date between December and August * Be majoring in Accounting, Mechanical Engineering (includes Mechanical Technology), Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering/Technology (includes Industrial Management) Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration (includes Operations), Management, Agriculture Science/Agronomy (includes Agriculture Engineering, Agribusiness, Ag Economics, Food Service), Computer Science, Information Technology (IT/MIS) (includes Computer Information Systems), Zoology (includes Animal Science), Marketing (includes Professional Selling), Hospitality Administration (includes Hotel/Restaurant Management) or related majors * Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Regeneron Science Talent Search
Regeneron STS is the nation’s oldest and most prestigious science research competition for high school students. Started in 1942 as the Westinghouse Science Talent Search, Regeneron STS recognizes and empowers our nation’s most promising young scientists who are developing ideas that could solve society’s most urgent challenges.
Each year, nearly 2,000 students enter the Regeneron STS, submitting original research in critically important scientific fields of study. Unique among high school competitions, the Regeneron STS focuses on identifying, inspiring, and engaging the nation’s most promising future leaders in STEM.
Eligibility: High school seniors living in the United States, and US citizens living abroad, who have completed independent research projects are encouraged to apply online for the chance to win up to $250,000!

A.W. Bodine - Sunkist Growers Scholarship
Qualifications are:
1. A background in California or Arizona agriculture - a student or someone in the student's immediate family must have derived the majority of his income from agriculture;
2. Financial need;
3. GPA and extra curricular activities indicative of potential success.
The scholarships are available to students entering any undergraduate grade level who are enrolled in or have applications pending at an accredited college and plan to pursue a course of study leading to a recognized degree. While the award amount may vary, it averages $2,000.00 per academic year.
Scholarships are renewable based on an annual review for up to four years of full-time undergraduate study and it may be extended under special circumstances. While in college, the recipients must maintain good academic and disciplinary standings. carry at least 12 graded units per term and earn a minimum of 2.7 GPA.
Max and Verda Foster Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: • Strong interest in Agribusiness as a career• Junior/Senior standing only• 500-word essay required on the following topic: “Why I Should Receive This Scholarship” GPA: 3.20
