Atherton Scholarship

Eligibility: • Accounting Major• Senior standing in year of receipt of award• 400-word essay describing why student is majoring in Accounting (include career goals) GPA: 3.5

Dave Jenkins Scholarship

Eligibility: • Must be Accounting major GPA: 3.0

Leah Hetrick Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility: • Accounting majors• Available to juniors and seniors GPA: 3.00

TACTYC 2-Year Accounting Student Scholarship

Amount: $1,000 Number of Recipients: 2 Teachers of Accounting at Two Year Colleges (TACTYC) is pleased to announce two (2) scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each will be awarded to students that are currently pursuing a two-year degree in Accounting at a community or technical college during the academic year. An eligible applicant must be/have: Have completed at least 20 college semester credit hours, six of which must be in accounting by the END of spring semester Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale Be currently attending a two-year college as a full-time or a part-time student with plans to continue at a two-year college ( enrolling in at least 6 hours) with a major in accounting Provide transcripts which verify requirements 1, 2, and 3. If transcript does not indicate courses in progress for the spring semester, additional document must be provided. Transcripts may be an unofficial copy. Have made a commitment to a career in accounting Provide a one to two page self-description which includes academic and professional goals Compose a one page business letter answering the required questions based on the guidelines at the end of the application Be recommended by an accounting faculty member. We will request recommendation letters from faculty member via email.

Accountemps/ AICP Scholarship

Criteria: 1.) Must be an AICPA student affiliate member. 2.) Must be a declared accounting, finance or information systems major. 3.) Must have at least a 3.0 GPA. 4.) Must have satisfactorily completed at least 30 semester hours including at least six semester hours in accounting. 5.) Must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student. PAEOP Hermine Solt Student Scholarship

The Pennsylvania Association of Educational Office Professionals (PAEOP) welcomes all qualifying students to submit a scholarship application for the 2018 Hermine Solt Student Scholarship. This is a $500 scholarship that was established in 1992 for the purpose of aiding students in Pennsylvania to pursue higher education in a business-related field. This scholarship will be given to an eligible senior applicant graduating from a Pennsylvania High School or Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School to be used as either tuition assistance or as a school bookstore credit at any approved two or four-year post-secondary institution, college, or university majoring in the business field. (Examples include but not limited to: Accounting, Business, Business Administration, Business Communications, Business Management, Business Communications, International Business, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Marketing, Computer/Technology, or Secretarial/Admin. Assistant) Additional criteria for consideration include: 1. Financial Need; 2. Academic Performance (must have a minimum of a 3.0 G.P.A.); 3. School Activities (Clubs, Sport or Music/Arts) 4. Work, community and/or volunteer activities; 5. Traits of leadership, citizenship, and service to school and community with an excellent attendance record. In addition to completing the attached or online application, students must submit all of the following: 1. Official High School Transcript – if selected an original with a compressed seal will be required. 2. One letter of recommendation from a business teacher or guidance counselor who is knowledgeable of the student’s citizenship, academic history/scholarship, or activities in the school and/or local community. 3. List of all extra-curricular activities, honors, and/or community service 4. An essay or personal statement (approx. 250 words) detailing “WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF 10 YEARS FROM NOW?” 5. Acceptance Letter Showing Business Major The scholarship will be awarded as follows: Applications will be given a number based on order of receipt. Names will not be provided to the committee and points will be awarded using the approved scoring rubric. Points will be totaled and applications placed in order from highest to lowest. The scholarship will be awarded based on total points earned from the application, with emphasis on financial need, community service and/or extra-curricular activities and overall high school academic record. The essay/personal statement will provide insight as to the goals and future vision for the applicant. Scholarship winners must agree to let PAEOP use his/her photo and information for their quarterly newsletter or other members only correspondence. The winner will be invited to accept the award at the PAEOP awards banquet in Spring 2018. The scholarship check will be issued by the Pennsylvania Association of Educational Office Professionals (PAEOP) in the name of the student to the college or post-secondary institution the student will be attending. Scholarship proceeds must be used for tuition and/or as a credit at the student book store. Scholarship Packets must be postmarked no later than March 1, 2018 – NO EXCEPTIONS!

Wells Fargo

Established to further advance the education of Alaska Natives and to encourage interest in the banking profession, Wells Fargo and BBNC entered into a multi-year scholarship commitment, whereby each contributes $2,500 to the fund. Eligibility Requirements: *BBNC shareholder *junior or senior enrolled as a full time student in an accredited college or university *cumulative 2.0 grade point average or better *able to show financial need

Carl H. Marrs Scholarship Fund

Established in 2001 by The CIRI Foundation through funds provided by Barbara Donatelli, Craig and Thea Floerchinger, Mark and Leslie Kroloff, and Kirk McGee and Gloria ONeill in recognition of Carl H. Marrs, President/CEO of Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (1995-2004) for his vigorous advocacy of Pre-K-12 and post-secondary opportunities for CIRI shareholders, original enrollees, and their direct lineal descendants. Scholarships in business administration, economics, finance, organizational management, accounting or similar fields.

BHP-Coal New Mexico Scholarship

Requirements: 1. Enrolled member of Navajo or Ute Mountain Ute Indian. Certification of Tribal membership is required. 2. High school senior admitted to college, students currently atteding or admitted to a four-year college. 3. Minimum cumulative B average or 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. GPA must have been attained as a high school senior or from current college performance. 4. ACT SCORE: 22 or better 5. Must be registered as a full-time student and show proof of full-time student status prior to award payment. 6. Major course of study must be in the following areas: engineering (mining, civil, mechanical, electrical), business/accounting, environmental/reclamation sciences, labor/industrial relations, purchasing, or occupational safety.

Scholarship Award Program

Over $1,700,000 in tuition scholarships are being offered in both degree and diploma programs to Florida high school graduates. These scholarships are available in such diverse specialties as business administration, electronic engineering technology, drafting and computer assisted design, secretarial, fashion merchandising and design, accounting, cartooning/illustration, court reporting, professional mariner, culinary arts, hospitality management, private investigation, nail and skin care technology, respiratory therapy technician, travel and tourism, cosmetology, video film production and recording arts, automotive service technology, photography, industrial design technology, music and video business, allied health administration, air conditioning and refrigeration technology, paralegal studies, interior design, therapeutic massage, rescue and advanced open water diving, cardiovascular technologist, visual communication, medical or dental assisting and other business, health care and technical/career fields.

Cox Newspaper Minority Journalism Scholarship

The scholarship is intended to provide total financial support for highly-motivated minority students (African-American, Asian-American, Hispanic, Native American and people of color) who are citizens for four years of study who wish to pursue a career in the newspaper industry. This scholarship is for four-years of study in any one of the following areas of study: Journalism, Mass Communications, Economics, English, Accounting, Political Science, History, Public Policy, Urban Studies, Advertising. Cox Enterprises Inc., a multi media company headquartered in Atlanta, offers a full paid, four year scholarship to high school seniors who will graduate from the metro school system served by one of the following newspapers: West Palm Beach Post (Florida), Austin-American Statesman (Texas), and Atlanta Journal-Constitution (Georgia). Only one scholarship is offered each calendar year and only one newspaper is selected to administer the program.

Landmark National Bank Endowed Scholarship

Available to business related majors in the Business Department Recipient be from the Central Kansas area (Barton, Finney, Ford, Ness, Rice, Rush, Ellsworth, Pawnee, Russell, Stafford counties). Applicants must have high academic standing
