Keith Andrew Schaeffer Memorial Scholarship Fund
This fund will assist students and nationally certified alumni of the Synergy Healing Arts Center & Massage School with continuing education, books, supplies or child-care expenses while studying massage therapy/bodywork. This scholarship will award annually based on 1) financial need 2) completion of at least 300 of 624 hours of study 3) GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale 4) minimum 90% attendance 5) completion of a 300-word essay "What I believe the future ofmassage therapy will be in the field of medical treatment."
Joseph T. Simpson Memorial Scholarship Fund
Joseph T. Simpson led the transformation of Harrisburg Steel Corporation into the world-wide corporation known as HARSCO, which established this scholarship fund for disadvantagedyouth through the Boys & Girls Club of Central PA. Anil and Neema Thakrar Family Fund
The Anil and Neema Thakrar Family Fund is an endowment fund of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities. This scholarship will be used to assist students for the study of a medical related discipline attending a school in Dauphin, Cumberland or Perry Counties.Selection criteria:Scholarship applications will be evaluated on the following criteria:1. Students must attend college for the study of a medical related discipline2. Leadership/Community Service3. Character4. Academic performance with a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale5. An essay on the following topic: “My biggest life challenge and what I learned from the experience.”6. Financial need
Alliance Medical Education Scholarship Fund (AMES)
To financially assist deserving medical students enrolled in a Pennsylvania medical school, the Pennsylvania Medical Society Alliance established the Alliance Medical Education Scholarship (AMES) Fund. This fund, established in April 2000, is supported by Alliance fund-raising events and general and memorial contributions.Awarded to second- or third-year medical students (when applying) who are residents of Pennsylvania and enrolled full time in a Pennsylvania medical school.
Endowment for South Asian Students of Indian Descent
Starting in 2003, each year, a scholarship will be available for a South Asian Indian student enrolled full time in his/her second, third, or fourth year at an accredited Pennsylvania medical school. Applicants must be residents of Pennsylvania.
Blue Seal Feeds Inc. Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in animal science or marketing at Cornell University, Penn State University or Virginia Tech. Resident of Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont or Virginia required.AWARD: Two scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.
Fastline Publications Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in agricultural business/farm/livestock or ranch management or agricultural sales and marketing. Seventeen $1,000 scholarships to a member from Illinois; Indiana; Iowa; Kansas; Kentucky; West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina or South Carolina; Arkansas, Louisiana or Mississippi; Missouri; Nebraska; Pennsylvania or New York; Washington, Oregon or Idaho; Ohio; Oklahoma; Alabama, Georgia or Florida; Tennessee; Texas; Wisconsin. In addition, seven scholarships are available to FFA members pursuing a two-year degree in agricultural business/farm/livestock or ranch management or agricultural sales and marketing to the states of Kansas; Kentucky; Nebraska; Ohio; Oklahoma; Texas; Alabama, Georgia or Florida. Applicants must live on a family farm, exhibit strong leadership skills, financial need and demonstrate interest in managing a farm.AWARD: 24 scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.

Eligible students will:
Write an essay of no fewer than 600 words about their career aspirations and how their current course load will help them achieve success in their careers. Where do you see yourself 10 years from now? Thinking outside the box is encouraged!

The Ivy Legacy Foundation Scholarship

The Carrie F. Gethers Memorial Scholarship
Is awarded to a student who will study physical therapy or occupational health in a two or four-year accredited college program.The recipient will be selected based on the following criteria:? Graduating Senior in a Philadelphia Public School? Demonstrated leadership ability? GPA 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale? Extra-curricular school activities? Enrolled in two or four year accredited college? Community service? Successful Interview
The Jarvis Moss Shepherd Educational Scholarship
Is awarded to a student with plans to major in business or education and enrolled in a four-year accredited college program.The recipient will be selected based on the following criteria:? Graduating Senior? Demonstrated leadership ability? GPA 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale? Extra-curricular school activities? Enrolled in a four year accredited college? Community service? Successful Interview
Susan Cannon Jones Celebration Scholarship
Supports the higher educational goals of a deserving non-traditional female student who is also a single parent. The recipient will be selected based on the following criteria:? Female 17 to 35 years of age? GPA 2.5 on a 4.0 scale? Enrolled in a 2 year or 4 year accredited college or university? Demonstrates financial need? Meets or exceeds interview evaluation
