Kensington-Bethesda BPW Scholarship The Kensington-Bethesda Business and Professional Women is offering a scholarship of up to $750 to a woman who needs assistance to pay for further education or training in order to achieve financial independence. The applicant must: 1. Be a woman, twenty-one years or older. 2. Be a resident of Montgomery County, Maryland. 3. Demonstrate critical financial need. 4. Submit a definite plan to use the desired education or training to upgrade skills for career advancement, to train for a new career field, or to enter or re-enter the job market. 5. Be a U.S. citizen.
